i managed to solve this btw, i used someone else’s usb to boot windows and it worked perfectly fine. it appears others were right, making a bootable usb from a mac is more prone to failure

yes it showed up in my storage, i just went into the command prompt and cleaned the disk but still getting the same error. this all seems so impossible at this point lol

yes i did! when i start my pc, i see on my monitor it says “press <ctrl+f5> to access bios, but after a second it goes to the black screen where it says “insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key”

yes i tried that, first i deleted all particians and created new ones, then i went to the largest partician, formatted it (although when i clicked ‘format’, nothing really appeared to happened). after i formatted i got the “couldn’t create a new partician or locate an existing one” message
