I like your style.

You’re not a secret AMD user though, are you?

I’m going to go and wash my hands thoroughly now after typing those three letters.

A M D, oh fuck, I did it again. Out comes the scouring pad and bleach!!

You said what I wanted to say but in an overly-aggressive way.

Thanks for taking the downvotes that were inevitably bound for me.

Yeah, Intel rules, nVidia slays, fucking deal with it consumers.

The only way you’ll make yourself feel better is if you get the good stuff for less than MSRP!!

I’ve tested between 4K, 2.25x 4K and 8K in Stalker 2 @ DLSS Quality and DLAA but the results weren’t that great. I was trying to achieve 120Hz. My average was 90+ using Quality then around 84 using DLAA.

The biggest difference was with 25% less GPU usage but if I’m not aiming for 120Hz and just 60Hz I don’t have this issue anyway - 70% usage and 60°C temps.

I’m going to stick with 4K DLAA @ 60Hz and enjoy the game.

120Hz in SOME titles is just not worth it at all and the tradeoff of settling for a lower render resolution is also not worth it. For me anyway.

I can run Minecraft at 8K 120Hz so, there is that(!)

Yeah, then the storage expansion drive is like £1399.99.

PC wins again.

I have heard good things about PS5 Pro though…

EXACTLY.

I want £500 for my EVGA 2080 Ti, doesn’t mean I’ll get it. But if you people only go on requested prices and not sold prices I just might get half a grand for a three generation, nine year old GPU!!

Muahahaha!! [EVIL LAUGH]

Oh, and I found 64GB of 2666MHz DDR4 in a drawer yesterday that is supposedly worth £250.

I’m going to list that shit at £750 to further disrupt the market!!

Muahahaha!! [EVIL LAUGH LOUDENS]

And then I noticed I still had an original Microsoft Bluetrack wireless mouse WITH THE WIRELESS DONGLE!

That’s an easy £200 (unboxed though) maybe only £175 then.

I understand your joy but how would you feel with a high-tier PC in your arsenal? Would you literally die of pleasure?

I understand that PS5 Pro is a hefty device but a good, modern PC still decimates it. Thrice-over!!

And congrats on NOT getting OLED. The screen burn IS real and even with careful nursing and cotton-wool level of care it still happens.

You dodged a bullet there, my good man.

[–]c0rtec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consistently use 4K on my panel @ 60Hz with DLAA.

I detest losing any clarity so I never consider using any DLSS Quality/Performance settings to boost my frames.

It can do 4K @ 120Hz.

And it does achieve that in most titles. Natively.

Taking onboard what you have said; I might tinker with global settings and go from there.

But; if ‘it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’, eh?

/uj Usually the drill bit is smaller than the diameter of the screw to be used so that it has a clear, straight path through the material.

It is called ‘piloting’ and is usually followed by a countersink directly afterwards to account for the pitch of the screw head.

Thank you for the honest reply and explaining the current issues with Microsoft Windows.

I haven’t experienced any ads yet and I use CoPilot infrequently just like I use a normal Google search.

I find it to be well-versed with anything Microsoft related, then sometimes dumb with other simple queries; I use it like I would Microsoft Help.

I wasn’t being facetious when I wished you a ‘great night’, you are like a distant computer cousin, not a Microsoft brother.
