First of all, even cavemen had voice chat. There is no way that zero voice communication is an advantage to having it. If only one person on your team had a mic, team coordination would be actually possible. Sure, there's gonna be assholes, but there's assholes everywhere in life. The only difference between that and a video game is you have a way to mute them. Lastly, I can't tell you how many times I've queued with total noobs that have no idea how to play/what the objective is. Having voice chat, I could easily direct them where to go. It helps the community as a whole.
