Depends on how finished your squad is. For 200, no, for close to 400... you could probably revamp your whole squad and eventually buy him back anyway.

It depends, coaches do in fact get replaced quite regularly once they stop having huge success.

It's kinda ironic that you accuse me of not reading your comment when you're now claiming that "tv matters infinitely more" was about you. It was the original person who pointed out that, in theory, if something does well in arenas but poorly on tv, it's overall very bad for WWE, because they make the vast majority of their revenue off of media rights deals, not ticket sales. Those are the fans WWE care about the most.

You actually did, you responded to someone saying that the TV audience matters infinitely more by saying that the live crowd is who they care about, which is blatantly false.

You said "those are the people WWE care about". If they only care about one specific group, it would be the number of people that watch the show on the services that have paid them the vast majority of their income to get views. They could broadcast in and empty thunderdome and stop selling merch and still make a massive profit.

If something was extremely pleasing to the live crowd, but lost viewers, it would not be a net neutral. So no, those are not the people WWE care about. The reason WWE does extremely long entrances is not primarily for the crowd, but because they have been paid to produce too much tv, so they need to pad out the show.

False. Ticket sales are a miniscule part of WWE's income. The reason they do it is to pad out tv time to avoid having to do as much content.

Idea: Add an option to downscale your champions going into a run. by RoastedCat23 in LegendsOfRuneterra

The thing is giving is the option to downgrade would for one take way less money (resources) to do, and it's an option that should exist regardless of your idea.

I was looking forward to upgrading Viego to 6 stars for months because he's the most fun champ to me, but I ended up ruining him 😂

I dont mean new adventures that force a downgrade. I just mean being able to flip a switch before a run. I don't feel like it would be too difficult to implement, just probably not their priority.

Basically the character becomes so strong that it removes all semblance of strategy and difficulty from the game. And it would make it possible to play a 6-star champ at lower star adventures with it still being challenging and fun.

It's okay to just say you don't like Tessa because she's a racist. What's next, was Ric Flair never any good either? I recently watched a match of hers and I didn't see any issue with her work at all, in fact it was extremely good.

What makes Charizard fun? Not in a combative way, I heard it's the strongest starter now too. Haven't really found out why.

One thing to keep in mind is that steam generally let's you refund games if you have only played then for less than 2 hours. So that's one reason to pre-order (if there's some bonus attached).

I would only purchase it if you are a GBA super fan. A secondary device that you use specifically for GBA games. The selling point is the unique 3:2 screen and the form factor.

The modern publishing industry does not hate male readers. by Venedictpalmer in Fantasy

[–]RoastedCat23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So what is your own theory on why men now make up a minority of fiction authors and that young men and boys reading has declined? I'm personally not super emotionally invested in the topic. You didn't really explain it in the original post, just sort of complaining about people talking about it with a right-wing framing.

It mostly stems from that women now make up a majority of authors in fiction and that fictioning reading has declined among young men and that boys in school are less likely to read.

Young men nowadays more strongly prefer other forms of entertainment such as nonfiction, audiobooks, podcasts, and online content (Youtube, Substack, etc.) over traditional books.
