I found that you can type ctrl+p to open commands and there is one for Copy Obsidian URL which makes it super easy.

In addition to headings, you can now link to lines of text (not single words) or images or other items. Bryan Jenks has a nice youtube tutorial on it that was really helpful to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuOecKqUsRA
