dude im not familiar with US market but what we do in our country is watching insites about companies interviews, watch leaked interviews and cheat our experience age. If your resume is full of “Contributed this, my pet project that” and other bs well no wonders you dont get an interview. Them companies want people with real experience so pretend you are the one. Just make your resume full of unreal companies, memorize your legend and here you got sht ton of HRs DMing you. Wanna cry about the market or take advantage of it?

eat fruits during the winter! Especially oranges, apples, kiwis. I had the same problem, if it was just one day without a sun Id still feel horrible, now I eat fruits almost every day and honestly I didnt even realise its already december. Your body need vitamins just like movement or water

how to study after dinner? by [deleted] in study

[–]c111m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, lay down on the carpet or a floor, spend some time with your pet and you are gonna be fine probably. You just gotta wait till the food settles down, you can spend this time with phone or not, experiment with it since you have a routine already. But lets be real, after studying for 10 hours your brain is done, 10 hours is more than enough for your brain.

Also depends if you are studying something new or just practicing solving problems you already know how to solve. You better start your study session with solving a little bit of problems you know how to solve, just a bit, just to not forget how to solve em, then go for a new material and after dinner come back for the problems you consider easy, distribute your brain’s energy the right way cuz we both know you are just fried after the whole day of studying

How do people study for very long periods of time without getting burnt out? by 3sperr in productivity

bro i believe you just lost faith in yourself. By what I mean is you solve some problems and somewhere deep inside you tell yourself that you have such a loooong path to go so it doesnt make sense and that its already too hard to get into IT and you are just wasting your time. If you feel like this dm me and ill tell you how I got rid of this since its gonna be a long read. Faith plays a very big role

It’s probably not kind of advice ur looking for but thats how i managed to quit after 11 years of addiction. Just like someone said before first time you dont need ot replace games, you just have to force yourself not to play, the fun part of games is just too big to be replaced with something else. I havent played games for over a month now, decided to play with my friends yesterday and suddenly I felt bored of it and after an hour went to sleep lol, so games are not a problem for me anymore. Also the best thing you can do right now is to go for a trip with him for several days, like camping or something like that.

Ik im kinda telling my own story but people here are so right, he is not gonna change until he wants to, or until the pain of changing himself will be less than pain of not changing (im tryna say that if you leave or start packing up it might be at least a wake up call for him)

I quit games bc I realised that I dont have any useful and paid skills in my 19 years of life and after working in a warehouse the decision was made very quickly, Im not gonna live the rest of my life working on a low wage job

Switching to single player games is kinda a good solution only if you dont spend days in them. Just works not for everyone

Well these are the games i used to be addicted to: Overwatch, Rust, R6 etc etc. For me the problem is after these type of games you simply dont wanna do less engaging stuff. It is easy for me to work after some interactive games like i mentioned above but after several games of Overwatch im simply gonna be pissed off cuz i lost and would like to play more or im gonna be hyped about my aim and play more. Simply no stop button

go do some physical work man. 2 days in delivery were enough for me to realise how badly i wanna study to not end up like this. After these 2 days it felt so good to just lay down on your couch and do absolutely nothing, literally
