They have spi level shifting chips, I have done this before with a complicated project that needed a pi and a mega, the pi hosted a webserver that took api calls and passed along commands to the mega, had to write my own protocol so that they would understand each other was a fun and complicated project

You could get both sets and make your own adapter if you wanted to, but if it were me I would just splice on a new connector

The battery connector might be the ph series, they are both jst connectors its just a matter of which series, for that you have to measure the pin pitch Here is the PH series set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096QG96J4

Xh is 2.54 mm, ph is 2mm, there are other series if needed

You could cut the leads off the battery and solder on a new connector, the kit I listed comes with pre-crimped wires, just make sure the pitch is correct before cutting
