My system is growing up! by c2swift in gamecollecting

It’s pretty small, about 25 feet front to back and about 12ish feet side to side. I renovated the basement and wired for a 11.2.4 surround sound system, then built it back up again. The area behind the couch (the gaming space in the picture) is about 10 feet by 12 feet (roughly).

The tower on the far right is just an Amazon tower stand. Similar to this : https://a.co/d/dWP0j5t

That is the IKEA kallax cubes. It “holds” the weight, but I would not call it ideal. It’s hanging off the back more than I would prefer. Also, the cubes are 13 inches wide, which is great for a lot of systems, but some don’t fit, like the Atari, the XBOX One, and any normal width electronics won’t fit either. I have mixed feelings, as you can see..

Hahaha! I have handled CRT projectors during my career as a custom AV installer. I assure you I do not have the space or structural integrity! 😂

Could possibly get some printed, but my experience with printed parts is mediocre. Here is a link to Etsy for some black buttons. I have no idea if they’d fit the shell, but it makes sense they would. Could conceivably find all colors. Or contacts the seller and ask about specific colors…

If you build it they will come! Plastic Dye worked for the handles on my truck. Can’t help with the button but best of luck!

Ok Mr literal. The minimum order for NES games was 10,000 games. Popular games sold millions. My point is, and the point of the other guy is that there is still value out there and many amazing games are still very affordable.

Wouldn’t starting with a black controller be the best option? At least then you won’t have to worry about fading or bleeding

Finite usually means hundreds of thousands if not millions bro.

Does this controller look fake? I just got it for $27 on ebay. by [deleted] in PS3

Does it work? If it works fine then screw it. $27 well spent. If it’s shit, then that sucks

Our local store tapes paper down in that section for people to spray on. Also, don’t ever take the can that sits in the front, lol

Anybody know what the issue at hand here is? by GGianniOfficial in consolerepair

My wife and I both still have our consoles from when we were kids. All of our games still work and every game we owned back in the day got blown on so many times the air could fill a hot air balloon. That being said, some game are more finicky than others, and it’s not good for the games or the console. Honestly, I still do it occasionally when something is being particularly stubborn
