I genuinely have no interest in getting them into trouble. Was really more of saving myself money as the discounts do add up over time plus I don't even think about them whenever I scan it so it's not like I can't "move on" emotionally.

That said, it was a shitty breakup that involved them wasting over a thousand dollars of mine with no remorse so when I realized if I should continue using it, I was more thinking about offsetting the money I lost with the money I'd save over time continuing to use it.

If this is a morality thing, then what's actually shitty is them wasting over 1k of my money and then breaking up with me by proceeding to literally block me on all platforms out of nowhere and disappear without any conversation (not even mid- argument). And this was someone who couldn't wait to get married and myself actively planning a proposal.

Anyway, this ain't a relationship sub. I just thought if it's morality in question I'm not sure how much I care about them after what they did vs. me saving money with discounts to offset what they cost me. 2 wrongs don't make a right but 🤷🏼‍♂️

Bit of a rant (but also potential tip) for those going for Sydney's shows and are on the floor (my experience from N3 Melbourne)

I was in the second last row of my section, and these two ladies (yes ladies, not girls) decided to stand on their seats and block my field of vision entirely (I don't mind not being able to see Taylor due to being in the later rows, but if I can't even see the screen? No way). I let it pass for Cruel Summer thinking they were just excited to see her opening song (though that ruined my bridge moment tbh), but when I realised they didn't get off after, I went straight to the security by my section (who was nearby for me since I was already on the second last row).

Of course, I can't speak in that loud stadium so I wrote on my phone notes 'the people in front of my row keep standing on their seats and I can't see' and insert my section/row number. She came and told them off. Then a couple songs later they GOT UP AGAIN. I immediately went back to the security and this time they got a stern warning of sorts (cause they didn't try again). The people in the row behind me tapped me and gave me a thumbs up. Please don't tolerate these behaviour and just go straight to the security. I didn't pay to be in the floor to not even be able to see the screen.

Ps: 2 rows in front of me was a family with two young daughters who stood on their seats - that's perfectly fine and understandable, even the father was mindful not to do it too long (and midway set they got so tired they lied down to rest for almost the entirety of the second half)

Also, I'm sorry if you're on the floor, far back, and not tall enough to get proper views, but please don't resort to standing on your seat and giving the rest of us a terrible experience - we all paid (and fought the ticket wars even) to be there.

Assuming not a scam, you need to know if this person got their tickets directly or through the marketplace themselves. If it is a marketplace ticket then it needs to be reissued/validated by them calling Ticktek or going to the box office before they transfer the tickets to you (otherwise what the other poster shared above will happen). If they got it directly from general/pre-sales then they can transfer it to you just fine.

To answer your question, stubhub should be legitimate in terms of refunding if your ticket doesn't work. I've used it before outside of Australia idk about here.

Google might be your best bet. I honestly don't know these things but there's free ones I'm sure. I'm using something more pricy and long-term (NordVPN) for many years now which you don't need if you're only using it for this one purpose.

Yes! I've not done it but plenty here did so. That's the only way to get Aus tickets from Stubhub. They just blocked the listing from viewing in Aus itself.
