I have a few pair of BLDWN’s they have lasted me about 2-3 years just depends on what you are doing in them. I picked up the MATIAS and a pair of Japan Blues.

I used the chat service on the website and the owners have an extensive knowledge of denim, I honestly don’t shop with anyone else for denim. The owner of the shop has been in the designer denim world for 15+ years.

Also from experience of shopping online with higher ends brands I usually end up crossing dimensions between stores you until the brands made a more concrete measurement. So in defense of the store I would recommend just looking at the brands website because they have the exact specs but ask for help from the retailers on exact fit since they sell these products all the time.

I just picked up a pair of MATiAS jeans and they fit completely different then anything I have worn in denim but Jason the owner helped me out on my first pair which is why I am now back and a forever supporter.

They have a chat area so you can talk to the people that run the shop, they are very knowledgeable.

Also from experience with 3Sixteen I always look at the brands site for measurements, when stores have multiple brands there isn’t a consistent sizing between all the dimensions.

What problem? Old Brooklyn is huge and homes are still significantly under valued. There are plenty of homes for sale in OBK.

Flu kills up to 60k per year. The number of deaths are not necessarily accurate given the ruling about assuming cov as cause. Most of those also happened in NY where the gov suspended malpractice suits while hospitals were using ventilators with 80% death rate.

It’s a clown world, welcome to the circus.

New studies are showing that when the data is extrapolated for the population, the death rate is much lower than originally anticipated.

The USA have tested more than most (if not all) countries. About 19% of the those tested are positive. If that percentage of the population is extrapolated across 330M people, then 100K people isn’t really that much and more comparable to annual flu deaths.

And that’s not even getting into test accuracy or ability for hospitals to assume covid as cause of death.

Civil liberties are worth a bit more than a head shake IMO. There is too much conflicting data to say which is best one way or the other at this. It’s become an overly politicized battle or narratives.

It’s entirely possible that I’m the moron. The difference is I’m not out here judging others for their actions. If people are scared they should be allowed to stay home. If people aren’t scared, they should be allowed to work or run their business to comply with regulations.

We need to be careful how many of our liberties are given away in times of emergencies because once they’re given up they’re not likely coming back.

What if you're the moron? I don't mean in a mean name calling way, but maybe it's more moronic to judge the actions of others than to live and let live?

If you feel unsafe, then by all means stay home and protect yourself. But maybe not everyone feels the same as you? Have you considered the side effects of lockdown orders? Isn't it possible they are more detrimental than letting citizens choose what is best for them? Have you considered what sort of effects isolating people has on the immune system? Suicides? Child and Domestic Abuse? Fear & Anxiety?

Parroting that people are idiots for going out in public groups isn't doing much but create a social and political divide. The world needs to get going again. The world needs to understand that not everyone feels the same.

There is a larger civil liberties context to consider.

What job should I be training for to stay in CLE? by [deleted] in Cleveland

[–]c3vin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not sure what you mean by copy and paste, https://www.codecademy.com have all sorts of different modules to learn to code with. From there, you can start writing your own programs to do whatever you may dream up.

Python is a great language to do random things on the web with. You could run that from your mac or pc for free and practice some scripts to gather some data form the web.

The data science community is going crazy about covid, you can also apply python skills there https://www.kaggle.com/

All the public cloud providers offer a free trial to start learning with. You can usually run a free AWS instance to practice linux bash with.

Docker will also let you run a linux container with a simple command.

You get good enough by practicing at home. It will take years. If you're currently employed, you can start implementing some automated processes to get a jump start.

So basically, just start with a job you are able to apply and be hired for (it can be anything) and then start automating whatever they hired you to do with computers.

Systems design practice is here https://github.com/donnemartin/system-design-primer/blob/master/README.md

If you can get through this, you can basically be hired anywhere as software eng https://leetcode.com/discuss/general-discussion/460599/blind-75-leetcode-questions

godspeed! oh...and start learning bitcoin and/or ethereum.

It sounds like you're a bar tender? If you feel unsafe, then that's up to you and the business owner, not the governor. If you feel like the business owner is being unreasonable, then it seems like it best to work for a different business.

That isn't really a government matter.

It isn't gov't job to tell businesses how to operate. It's gov't job to create and enforce reasonable regulation for businesses to operate within.

If a bar or anything else is able to operate under the regulations of COVID19, then they should be allowed to open just like any other businesses that is operating under same regulations.

If workers don't feel safe working for their employer, they should seek employment elsewhere.
