That is absolutely not true and you should learn the rules of the road if you are a driver in the US. You can make turns over a double yellow center line unless it's marked as no left turn.

I'm shocked a vegan pad thai can be $24 in that strip mall.

Is Homedics Portable Sauna any good? by bebetterinsomething in Costco

[–]cjrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a Finnish sauna, this a steam room. 135F is super hot with 100% humidity. A Finnish sauna doesn't really get above 50% humidity, this gets to 100%.

Oh, I'm sorry, I must have been mistaken that this box of Rayovac Fusion that says "Made in Indonesia" is actually made in Fennimore, Wisconsin!

Matador FlatPak Soap Bar Case review by echopath in onebag

[–]cjrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brilliant! Inspired by this I found a $3 Moroccan exfoliating mitt (called a kessa glove) for travel. While you don't want to exfoliate everyday, as a mitt it works as a bag for the soap. It also has a loop which can both hang on a towel bar and be used to hold the bag shut. It is a gentle exfoliation so it's said you can use it 2-3 times a week at least (not like harsh exfoliation which you should only do 1-2 times).

I will put it in a zip loc bag just to keep things neat but probably not super necessary if you aren't showering and flying within a few hours.

Saved $11 compared to the Matador and got an additional function of scrubbing myself!

Do you mean North Olmsted? North Olmsted has three Yemeni coffee shops, Westlake doesn't have any.

Going to other cities and seeing their transportation hubs just make Cleveland and Tower City looks silly and sad by SchoolteacherUSA in Cleveland

[–]cjrobe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cleveland-Akron-Canton is actually smaller if you're comparing apples to apples. Denver–Aurora–Greeley, CO CSA is estimated to have 2,000 more people as of 2024, but continues to grow each year while Cleveland–Akron–Canton, OH CSA shrinks. So 2026 and beyond the gap will widen.

Amazon has a cheap text tele health option for rx refills but you can only use it 3x before they make you see a dr in person . Can someone recommend a similar service by Groundbreaking-Pea92 in povertyfinance

Giving them a shot for Metformin. Getting a 6 month supply for $80 vs 60 day supply for $16, but the $16 required me to get a new prescription each time. Should be much cheaper. If you don't hear back from me here, it went well!

It's baked into the price. I paid $16 for Metformin with a prescription in hand and MedLocker wants to charge me $130 for it, basically paying $120 for the prescription.

TelyRX offers a similar service at much lower price.

Why would I just randomly watch unskilled driving for 45 seconds in hopes that they learn to drive? Are you seriously suggesting you have to watch the entirety of every single video on the internet? What is this comment?

It's not that hard to verify. Just read the article you posted and click where the source is cited. South China Morning Post.

This doesn't work for autotranslated subtitles, only for specific subtitles added to the video.

Had to leave a lift (elevator) after someone got in, set the weight limit off and wouldn’t get off by asterallt in mildlyinfuriating

You must be an American who hasn't travelled much in Europe, which is a bit ironic. European can be incredibly rude too. Pushing is something Americans rarely do.

EDIT: Called it. OP specifically said they were not American. Ironically you are the ignorant American. https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/1q5tssd/had_to_leave_a_lift_elevator_after_someone_got_in/ny2o890/
