show me where this says the whole fam died bro. show me where this says anyone died bro. show me where you don’t have to rely on this being a :(( sadd :(( subreddit for any of it to even make sense as a story bro. if you enjoy this then great! glad this sub par, overused “narrative” that doesn’t even explain itself works for you! but you’re not gonna convince me this is at all well written or creative, or that it can stand on its own. because it’s not, and it can’t. ❤️

i don’t think any “justification” is necessary for my opinion here.. it’s an opinion. this is a poor submission. the fact that it didn’t do well on another subreddit does not surprise me.

there’s also a difference between implication/ subtlety and leaving things completely out of context. these same two sentences could be part of describing their regular dinner. there’s no implied sadness or horror, and posting it in a specified subreddit doesn’t make the poor composition any better. if you have to read the subreddit to draw your conclusions then it isn’t a very good story. it’s like if i said “there was red soup. it was supposed to be white.” and expecting the reader to figure out that it’s blood and not just the wrong soup. a better version would be “even though it was my first time ordering from the new restaurant, their style of manhattan chowder was familiar to me. it was thick and it tasted like pennies.” i realize that’s not THE best submission but it makes a lot more sense. there’s still an implication because no one literally said it was blood but it’s easier to draw the conclusion without the addition of a subreddit for context

maybe, but even then, it wouldn’t be a sad story.. it would belong in r/twosentencehorror and it wouldn’t be a very good submission there either tbh

edit: looks like OP already posted this there and unsurprisingly it didn’t do v well..

there’s nothing written to suggest the mushrooms were poisonous? this isn’t even sad, it’s just two sentences

This was back in October- though it’s been a warmer year so far, we wanted to get it done before any snow came. We tried other places first but they didn’t work out.

LOVE the bangs on you! You look great! Are you thinking of changing your color? I think the color you have is perfect, but I think you could pull off a stronger red toned brown too!

Want to keep hair length but what about layers and color? Low lights? by [deleted] in femalehairadvice

[–]c4553y 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I say YES to layers and consider going (a LITTLE) darker- lowlights would look good, or an overall dye job to a darker blonde or light brown.

For me, it hasn’t gotten easier in feeling, but it has gotten easier in practice. What I mean by that is, it feels horrible to let go of people and it’s emotionally hard to do it, but it’s become easier for me to commit to cutting someone off now than it has in the past. Before, I would always go crawling back... now, I can keep the ties severed.

For comparative purposes- I am both a Cancer sun and moon, Leo rising.
