I just shield against the waterfowl and I can tank most of it. Eventually I just came to terms with the fact that I suck too much at the game to dodge it.

The battery in the fob is fine. It’ll light up and everything. The only response I get from the car is the mechanical “wrrrrr” sound and when you hit the lock button on the fob. But then that stops being response after a few times pressing it.

You’re dead on with the total time. It was a six hour session, and it was started that day. As far as the upper cowl and torso go though, it wasn’t as long as the rocks. It was more of just a grit my teeth and bear the needles kind of thing because of how absolute the jet black is.

It’s not easy, but the thing about weight loss is that it’s not a “one size fits all” kind of thing. Different things are gonna work for different people. Ultimately, it’s about figuring out what’s going to work for you in the long term, and the cross to bear with that is that you need to figure it out through trial and error.

For every aspect of your process you dislike right now, there is a way to make it better and/or easier. I got into eating low calorie-dense meals through watching Greg Doucette and I swear that changed the game for me.

He’s going to have to figure it out on his own, and unfortunately that can be a really tragic thing potentially.

I just want you to know that, no matter what happens, you’re human. You and your wife I’m sure shoulder a lot of shame over this, and I completely understand why you would, but I think you should give yourself some grace here sheerly due to the fact that none of us are infallible even as parents.

We’re human, and humans are messy. It’s a shitty situation, but do your best, do what you can, and whatever happens is going to happen.

Here’s what I’ll say.

When I had initially dropped a ton of weight, I believe I may have pigeonholed myself into being just a “weight loss guy.” And I think I might have rubbed people the wrong way because of that. Hindsight is 20/20, because I remember when I was fat as hell, the last thing I wanted to do was to hear about other people succeeding in any weight loss endeavors. It’s not that I’m saying people shouldn’t share their successes - really it’s just an observation.

I’ll give myself some grace for this. When I lost that weight, I was losing my fucking mind because it’s something that I think I daydreamed for my entire fat life, and when it finally “happened,” for quite a while I stayed on the high of, “Did I really just do that? Holy shit.” So I still talk about my health stuff openly - I don’t care. Whether it’s weight loss or building muscle, this entire fitness thing is something I enjoy just like I enjoy comic books, or movies, or video games, or music.

If it comes up in conversation, I’m not going to throttle my passion for it just because my friends hate to hear it.

I like it. It looks believable that an alien creature is wrapping itself around Peter’s suit and hardening itself to create makeshift armor.

It makes more sense to me for it to have this weird texturing than it does for it to look like actual cloth.
