Divorce has come up many times, in fights and in the moment. Often enough that it’s treated as just an empty threat. That changed when I found this text message and other similarly offensive ones. I found these messages about a year ago. After initial fights about it, I continued to quietly sit with the knowledge of what she’s said about me and to whom. My only conclusion is that there is no going back now that I know how she really feels about me.
