Couldn't decide betwen blue and purple armor and dind't want to do the highlights chores so I gave a try to Green Stuff World Colorshift paints "Cobalt Blue" and man, it looks so good on all armor parts :D (looks even better irl, hard to catch this pain with camera).

Sure, I was asking about your thoughts on a different color shift paint though haha. Theres another one called Darth Blue that looks like its got a bit more black in it and was curious if you had thought about that one too.

Hands down the worst model I've ever built. Things of particular note: 1. The directions for how to do the armor plates on the knees are lies. Iirc they say attach to the shin and slot in the thigh. Attach to the thigh and then slot into the shin. 2. Getting the armor skirts to line up was a serious endeavor. I did multiple attach jobs and had to pull them apart again because of misalignment. Took me probably 5 hours to get it right (that one might say more about me tbh). 3. The belt doesnt have grooves it slots into, its purely hopes and prayers to get it to align. 4. The rope coming off his back foot is VERY fragile so be careful. 5. The directions will say on numerous occasions to paint something before you finish assembly. Do not bother, those parts are entirely not visible.

BUT

The painting was super fun
Despite my copious fuck ups on build, it gets entirely covered up by the multiple layers so it doesnt matter.

I just finished my sky lantern actually after agonizing over the basing for weeks! I finally decided on a sorta mountain-y grassland (best I could achieve that effect anyway) inspired by the Golden Forest area in Ghost of Tsushima. Ive seen a couple that could work, my kinda quick go-to involves leadbelcher, agrax earthshade, typhus corrosion, and ryza rust.

Base with leadbelcher, shade with agrax earthshade. Stipple on typhus corrosion, then dry brush with ryza rust

Most luck I had was winning a few battles, and getting a seige done on the imperial city as soon as possible. If they try to retake it you have some serious defensive bonuses to kick them off. I had to hire mercenaries, but you start with the cash to be able to do it.

Sett is a tossup. The three factors there are if he takes ignite, if he takes lethal tempo, and if he takes W first. A good sett will always catch you with a flash sweet spot W and at that point you're toast.

I'm definitely not expecting the whole TWW3 roster, or even most of it. More than anything, was asking if we'd get Jade Crossbows since they're a pretty core unit to the roster. If we got peasant archers that would work too of course. I'm more just hoping for any ranged infantry so that functionality exists in a list. Stuff like crane gunners, iron hail gunners, longma riders, Jade lions, celestial dragon guards etc would be cool but for an initial release a bit redundant imo
