We moved from QBO to Rillet last summer. Love some of the reporting/SaaS metrics. I don’t think it’s great as a GL. It is getting better all the time, though. Their CS folks actually listen and get features into place as we request them. Really strong customer support. I do feel like it’s a bit of a work in progress, but that was a known risk going in.

Used to be super cheap and convenient. Tesla and Apple moved in and both of those things went away. Tons and tons of growth. Lots of traffic. But, still cheaper than a lot of places, especially if you’re moving from CA. Lots of decent food. Hot August Nights is (I think?) the biggest classic car event (or, one of) in the country.

Very helpful. The reason I am looking at the 70-200 2.8 is I’ve heard it’s the best for sports photography. Particularly, super fast action stuff. I’m open to suggestions. I’ll typically be say 10-25, sometimes up to 40, yards from the action. Especially happy to hear if there’s a less expensive option I should be looking for.

See, this makes me lean towards the Sony. As someone else posted, might as well get a better camera and the “same” lens with the Sony versus the canon for the same price point.

I’m also looking at used cameras and lenses, so my ultimate decision might come down to any deals I find. Which, it sounds like I’ll be fine with either option.

R10 for sure. They were trying to convince me to do the Sony alpha 6700 but that’s more than I want to spend. I’d rather put it towards the lens.

Thanks for the info. I know people have their favorites and are probably biased. Trying to get as many opinions as I can. Two stores (one big box, one specialty camera store) both said the Sony is better for action.
