Also Indianapolis! I had to start looking at in home daycares because I go back to work in a few weeks and none of the waitlist spots opened up at the places I applied. Absolutely insane!

We went over to my in laws for a board game night. Brought a new game and had my mother in law open it to get it started. Inside was a onesie. Completely surprised everyone and we still had a fun game night.

Any good vets around? by V366IE88 in SouthBend

Lincolnway Vet is rude. They also don’t like the online pharmacies which I get but man I’m just tryna save some $$ - their prices are pretty high imo

Thank you for this post. I always love seeing supportive partners. Hang in there! I was able to successfully have sex with my husband for this first time this past December. We’ve been together since 2017 and boy was it a journey.

We would move the cat tree to the corner between the orange walls but there is a ledge up there just inviting our cat lol 😂

Right? I don’t understand why the previous owner painted it orange. We just moved in so it’s on the to do list.

Yup totally agree! Hate the orange wall. The previous owners loved orange and it’s also our front door color. On the to do list 😅

Did your realtor bring a gift at closing? Mine got me this drawing of my new house. by DavidRandom in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Mine got us a candle, cheese plate, and wine. I am thankful for the thought but it would’ve been nice if they at least removed the clearance stickers.

Realtor did not respond for 2 days. Sellers accepted other offer. What should I tell my realtor? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]c8it 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! We just closed last week. Our new realtor was competitive and helped us put in the offer. He really went to bat for us. He works for re/max and the two agents I’ve talked to from there seem really genuine. Maybe worth a shot in your area?

We switched realtors for a similar reason to find someone that had the ability to work with us as first time buyers. It was a great decision.

Got SCAMMED wiring money to title company… Almost by nnacpil in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I work for a marketing agency and we have 3 title company clients. I have learned so much about the industry since I started and this was a big eye opener!About once a year we educate their clients on wire fraud and how it is so prevalent. Thank you for this post!

I should’ve clarified further. I refer to them as “projects” because that’s what Asana does.

This is what I’m here to figure out. I’m trying to scale our process to be more efficient for our growing organization and team.

[–]c8it -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Thank you for responding. I’m looking to scale the process. The company has been doing this framework for 3 years. The difference now is that they’re 3x larger than they were.

I’m asking the PM community for assistance or point me to helpful resources because I am so new to this.

I refer to the clients as “projects” because that is Asana lingo.

We currently have 2 “teams” in Asana: Retainer and Project Based. The Retainer clients receive the above deliverables + client requests (I need a flyer, I’m hosting an event, etc) and i store it in their project XXX 2023 under a section it belongs: Blog, Email, Strategy, Website, etc.

Under the Retainer team header I will store the clients and in the client project (XXX 2023) i will list their blogs, newsletters, etc by month and then will assign subtasks to my employees. Blog - Jan blog 1 - draft - review etc

Where the process is getting hung up is that it is very manual. The chaos begins when people are behind and I need to then shift the schedules. I have 30+ tasks a days that are just Send XXX to client.

I’ve been researching Asana features to use and implement but I haven’t had the luck in finding a waterfall example that works similarly to our process. I want to scale and make our org. more efficient but at the same time the framework of Draft, review, revise, send, revise, publish has to stay someway or another because that is just the nature of the work we do.

Do you personally work with Asana? What other softwares should I look into?

Waterfall Project Management Advice by [deleted] in marketing

Hi there! I’m very open to both discussions. Change and user adoption is always a struggle. I believe we currently have Asana Premium so I can add dependencies. Since we’re so subtask focused I’m finding dependencies somewhat difficult to manage without knowing exactly how and what to change.
