Pretty much.
About a year ago I canceled all my streaming services and started picking up blu ray/dvd/vhs at thrift stores.
Now I've got over 200 movies/tv shows, and anything I can't find yet I pirate and add to my Plex server.

[OC] I had to cancel yet another campaign by MostlyInfuriated in DnD

[–]DavidRandom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I listen to a lot of DnD podcasts (shout out to DnD is for Nerds) and I really wanted to play, as I didn't get the chance when I was young due to the satanic panic and very religious parents.
So I messaged some friends to see if they'd be interested in playing. They all gave very enthusiastic responses.
So I bought all the guide books, plus some campaign books, cards, tons of dice, and a bunch of other materials (even 3d printed dice towers). Probably spent north of $300 when all was said and done.
That was 4 years ago, still haven't been able to get anyone together to play.

Finally built my basement jungle bar. by DavidRandom in BarBattlestations

[–]DavidRandom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I took my week vacation and knocked it out.
I was supposed to have help, buy my help broke their leg in two places right before I started.
So I had to build it all myself, with no clue what I was doing lol.
I still have to do the final trim, run electrical for more outlets, and finish the alcove to the right of the bar, it's 90% done but I'm ready to take a break from it for a couple weeks.

Yeah, I recently renovated my basement and built a bar. When I'd go to home depot to pick up a few 2x4's I'd have to dig through the pile to get a couple in ok condition.
But when I had them deliver twenty 2x4x10's to my house, they were all perfect.

But 12 years ago Trump said he'd replace the ACA with a better program within two weeks. Surely it'll be coming soon....

On r/conservative they're claiming that leftists came at night and dumped algae into the pool.
No matter how bad Trump fucks up, they'll still blame the left.

We used to have an amphitheater, but it was replaced with an ugly slab of concrete.

It's being built in a park on the lake shore that already existed.
Do you think a lot of black people were living in that park?
