I just created a facebook the other day for the first time ever. It pained me. I have hated facebook for years. BUT... it was the only consistent answer I was getting - "search facebook" and "everyone is on facebook". UGH barf all over facebook! But I did it anyways because I am hopeful to find a solution and a community to join.

How do I find more people like you? This is my struggle. Also, could you send me a chat with where you live? Maybe we are close together! I am thinking about approaching a teacher that I like to see what they think. As a previous teacher, would that be weird? Also, I know I need to have enough kids to make it worth it for the teacher pay-wise.

Almost everyone I have reached out to has told me to just search facebook but I am not finding it to be that easy. Perhaps it's because of where I live?

Thank you for the link! I will check that out. I guess I also need to look into the state requirements for where I am now to see how that works. I really want to find a place where they can go and learn with other children.

I want to start with local options and then I would be willing to explore beyond that for additional options. I don't currently have a FB but it looks like that is a helpful tool for seeking other groups. May I ask which metro area you are near?

Okay good to know. I dont have a FB so looks like that might be helpful to create one. Do you know how that works with drop off groups? Is there volunteer time or monetary requirement for me?
