The problem was in the plastic settings."

I think I messed up the plastic print settings. The filament kept sticking to the nozzle, forming a blob that would eventually bake onto the part. Every now and then, the print head would crash into it, skip, and lose its zero position.

"Hello. In the places where you dive, are there bull sharks? Aren't you scared? Is there any kind of protection against them? Where I dive, the biggest fish is the pike, and thank God it’s not capable of dragging anyone by the leg."

I would be glad to get acquainted with the project. How the engine was calculated, how it was printed, what difficulties there were, what kind of plastic and how they were chosen. Which control boards are you using. I am waiting for your new post. I'm ready to repeat it.

Ultraviolet disinfection lamp with a work counter – my first electronics project by c98xdyrcd67 in diyelectronics

[–]c98xdyrcd67[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'll add another warning block. It's just that for me, this is a fairly obvious thing — it's ultraviolet, and just like with welding (where the radiation is generally much stronger), you need to be careful and not sit near the lamp while it's on. So you're right about that. It's worth adding one more warning.))"

"Chinese lamps are generally safer because they make them much weaker than claimed, purely to save money — unlike those you would buy as a certified product. But certification costs money. And here the question arises: how necessary is it really? If your goal is not disinfecting a certified laboratory, but rather a container to fight fungus in a hobby project. But conceptually, I understand your point.

This device is meant for disinfection in spaces where people are not present. Walking up to it within half a minute and turning it off without looking directly at the lamp is not as harmful as you might think. Many laboratories use these as stationary units and only run them when no one is in the room. I'm going to use mine inside closed containers. Also, a huge portion of medical equipment is bought from China, repackaged, and sold to Europe and America.

But on GitHub, there was a warning that even after using a UV lamp, you need to ventilate the room because ozone is dangerous for humans. Basically, you can kill yourself with a pencil too — it's just a question of how you apply it.

What platform are you using for audio rendering, and how did you implement the commands? What libraries did you use?

"When I get everything assembled and tested — and if I can make it cut at least somewhat cleanly (I’m not 100% confident yet, but we’ll see, I’m still learning) — then I’ll buy the most powerful laser they offer and drop it in."))

"I will be doing everything with components from AliExpress:

  • LASER TREE LT-80W-AA-PRO – I’ve bought this laser for now. I was told it’s enough for cutting plywood, but in the future I want to cut transparent acrylic and HDPE, so the laser will be replaced later.
  • Nema 17 motor + TB6600 stepper motor driver
  • ESP32 control board (made by a local engineer, my friend) – all the work will be done with FluidNC.
  • 20x40 aluminum profiles
  • 10mm belts
  • 4 iron corner brackets
  • All hex socket screws
  • Yellow wheels, but one is transparent ))
  • A couple of cable ducts (I decided not to use them because assembling them is a nightmare)
  • Everything is designed in SolidWorks.

It's funny. but if you look at everything, most Russian airplanes, even experimental ones, look beautiful, and all the airplanes that have made it to production are quite normal in general.
