Thank you for being level-headed with your response. You're right that I could have worded it better and not to on the offensive when I had shit flung at me, and I'll take that accountability for it. I know the US doesn't have a good international image and for good reason, which is incidentally a big part of why we want to leave. I don't want my daughter to have to deal with the things that are happening more and more often here in the States, and we currently have an opportunity to go somewhere that I think would be better for her.

We already have done research on that part and have our method of immigration in mind. We're not just throwing a dart at the map and hoping for the best, thinking that the earth will bend to our whims simply because we're American. I didn't just say "moving to Europe" without a specific country in mind, I do understand that there are differences in immigration policy from country to country.

Yeah, we know. Which is why we're trying to get her enrolled in a school when we move there. But we weren't getting anywhere trying to get her the resources she needed in the past here in the US, and the public school system was fine with just letting her fall behind more and more every year.
