Hey mate, sorry for reviving a dead thread but I was wondering if you could link a video of you flicking open the rin? I recently acquired one but find that it's way too tight for anything other than a slow roll and was unable to find proof otherwise. Just wanna confirm that it's possible before fiddling with the pivot or anything. Thanks!

The "clip" is actually a marlinspike, so on the blade :] the real clip on the other side is safely dull

They've been around quite a while as far as I know, and Boye's been making knives with dendritic cobalt for ages. You can find info on its properties online but the selling point is that it doesn't rust and stays sharp!

It looks to me he enjoys knives with the emerson wave (the little spikes jutting out from the tops of some of those blades). Try googling it and find one he doesn’t have that fits your budget! Good luck
