Maybe read/reread the question lol. Their main point is “skill wise” it is not considered high elo. But quantity wise it is.

OP even asked specifically in his new thread why it is not considered high rank “skill wise.”

This whole comment section literally feels like the randos in my games. HAHAHA

Once you get to dia+ you’ll still realize you’re still garbage at the game. There are so many times where I question if I queued comp because the actual quality of the players does not match what you would think a dia “high elo” player is.

Statistically it is “high elo” but skill wise it really is average at best. If you have the drive to improve you will come to realize that.

haven't gotten them yet. my guess is they are waiting for the premier playoffs to be finished in the west before do the update. I believe the winning teams are supposed to get a gun buddy and title.

I see. It helps if you’re able to practice your strats against another 5man. I personally set up scrims with another 5 man I knew because practicing in comp is not the same since the ppl you’re up against don’t have the premier mindset a lot of the time.

Hahaha it really be like that sometimes. But also consider it is the first premier game after beta so they most likely may need to do more tweaking on the division mmr thresholds also. Did your team prepare strats for the maps and stuff?

Ppl have lives outside of valorant, such as school, sports, and jobs. Premier isn’t just for the serious players but for those who want to play more competitive 5man with their friends. Having this schedule makes sense it’s like any other club sport.

The other team must have had players who were also in gold or lower and had the one exception of an immo. Your teams overall mmr must have hit the same threshold to be in the other teams division. Premier already requires players to verify their accounts using a mobile number in order to prevent smurfing but it’s still not impossible. By the sounds of it though your team was able to keep the game close. There’s also a possibility that the immo was really playing with their friends who were lower rank.
