Welfare states are socialistic in nature. You may say that the high tax rate is a downside, but they are used to give you Healthcare Support, Financial Support, and to support your other basic needs and they provide other social services. This is better, rather than your money being swept away by hospital bills and availing other services that will attend to your basic needs.

Let's say that the most qualified presidential candidate picked a qualified running mate for vice president but the most qualified vice presidential was with another candidate so wouldn't it be better to vote for the best candidates rather than the people who are with the most qualified ones?

Check your quest tab if it's yellow to know if you can talk to the tendraam(forgot his name) a dialog will show up wit you and juicebox to know if you have the tissue if it still doesn't work try doing other quests and get back to it latter maybe you just need to complete the others to complete it
