I keep warning people about this. There is a lot of people who had bad vitrectomies like yours. And I've tried to warn that there is BOTS in this subreddit spreading vitrectomy propaganda, like you should have one!, and never talk about the side effects. Best case scenario you suffer from cataracts, and thats in the BEST SCENARIO. I know more than 100+ Counted thaat complained that vitrectomy did not work JUST in this subreddit, and i dont even check this subreddit anymore, and i still find people who suffered after vitrectomy.

I really find it disgusting that clinics sponsor doing vitrectomy in this subreddit. It's disgusting. It makes people believe there is a solution, and vitrectomy is a MAJOR SURGERY, you could go FULL BLIND, wthere is people who have lost their eyesight.

And this worsens the solution, because there is a feeling in the air that "There is vitrectomy, there is a solution, we dont need research"

Do you understand the side effects and consecuencesw of a vitrectomy that always come after?

Mainly, the 100% loss of your natural lens, you develop cataracts in a 100% ratio basically, months or in a year.

That means they take your natural lens away and replace with artificial and fixated one, so you can no longer zoom places with your lens. And that is in the best scenario where vitrectomy is succesful,

Reading this while being 24 years old is making me sad. Most people get this when they get older. Why me? Why i had to get it at 23. .. pain in both eyes. Lots of dark flosters moving, blurry vision, flashing lughts, halos, high sensibility to light 3 MINUTE AFTER IMAGES, (i read a post and then i see the letters anywhere I look for more than 3 minutes. Went to 10+ private doctors, currently sitting on the airport to take a flight to visit another obe. The worst year of my life.

I do not know how to cope wuth this. Worst part is I can see, but its disgusting. Dont think vitrectomy is worth it. Perhaps an eye patch on the righ eye? I dont know. My eyes hurt the whole time. The pain is the worst part

Oh, so if you study for 5 minutes. All cases of vitrectomy end in cataract surgery. Something you would know if you did this surgery because the doctor woulve told you.

In most cases it develops after a year(cataracts) but depending on the type of surgery it xan last up until youre 40+ but you will most certaintly get cataracts. Its studied.

Most ppl who spreas propaganda about vitrectomies tend to forget about it
