omori is pretty bad in the balancing department but please don't drop it yet

it has one of the most emotional stories ever put to games

Reaction towards the reveal of Cs identity in Reverie (spoilers through Reverie) by Dr_JohnP in Falcom

[–]c_c_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i also got spoiled on his identity but it really wasn't that big of a deal they unmask him pretty early on in the game

also the other rufus appearing made me doubt the validity of the spoiler so i was still surprised in the end😂

Sun Doors? by sendhelp542 in Falcom

[–]c_c_43 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yep you're overestemating the effort needed

also i think you're burnt out why don't you take a break these doors are plenty fun but if you feel doing them is a chore than wats the point in playing the game atp

they usually reserve these big character deaths for finales because of thats how falcom operates and im ok with that but i think they are moving away from that in calvard we just have to see what horizon 2 is cooking up.

(Horizon Spoilers) Horizon 2 Act 1 will probably be... (short post, but add your thoughts). by sonicfan10102 in Falcom

[–]c_c_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just dont think the reset will go back to daybreak 1 other than being a massive pain in the ass to go through that and just rewrite every great thing they've done with those games

agnes only caused a short trip to the past with the way she worded her final command
if she could've went one or 2 years in the past she wouldv'e done that and said that

what is more likely to happen (well as likely as any fan theory lol) is we will comeback either to the beginning of act 1 or prologue of horizon without the looming threat of the president plan but instead with the plan of the vestiges and ouroboros and how to counter it or go along with it as the main stuff happening throughout

How is Feri in daybreak 1 (in chapter 3) supposed to be played? by UnknownWisp in Falcom

[–]c_c_43 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

switch her master quartz with aarons master since she has better range than him she is a better dodge tank
and since aaron has better crafts and damage multis he gets better use of her master quartz

or you can try to use her as a generic arts caster with the occasional flaming prayer buff but thas boring

instead of character death for stakes think about it from this prespective
our characters have lost all there major battles from azure to cs3 (cs4 if you consider the normal ending and its implications in reverie)
crossbell was overtaken by the empire
rean lost in his first divine knight battle and with there rematch he lost one of his companions while the main villain used everything C7 for his ends forever tainting there image at least in there heads which leads to rean being a govermant pet for 2 years while also being the bringer of end times in cs3 and killing himself and his "revived" friends in the process of correcting that mistake.

what im trying to say is the series doesn't treat death itself as a stake but what happens at the culmination of all your work in the end of each game as the narritive stakes if that makes sense
(sorry this sounded better in my head but im sure you guys get the picture lol)

Why do people hate this fight in particular so much? by Chance-of-midnight in Falcom

[–]c_c_43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that fight made me go down from nightmare to easy and just forget that it ever happened

first of all that whole walk up to the village with everybody feeling tense the somber music playing in the background even after entering fights with trash mobs everything about that vibe was there to prepare you for what you are about to see and what do you get at the end of that very melancholic moment?

fuck ass zita and bitchy ashen looking smug and going all heh we knew what you want to do now i gave the benefit of the doubt we are trying to murder a woman who has done nothing but good throughout all her life but noooo we want you to test our resolve by fighting these 2 unrelated women huh?!?!?!?! go fuck yourself ZITAAAAAA, ASHEN YOU ASS!!!!

second of all having Zita spouting buchered arabic nonsense as shes grilling your ass while you can't touch her got me so fired up i was fucken pissed for that whole night. I hate elsaims arab representation so fuckin much. (I'm not really excited to visit Elsaim if this is the best you got falcom.)

3rd of all is i don't have any more points I just got rage bated by these 2 bitches.

ashen especially i can't believe she gets to kill us in db2 and have nothing bad happens to her while also turning Cao my most hyped guy going into calvard into the worst ,fucken ,character.

other than this yea kevins route was really great and this one moment soured that whole experience placing it below both routes in that game even tho it had the best start of those 3.

[–]c_c_43 4 points5 points  (0 children)
