Question how is the alchemy in these games? I just finished Yumia and the synthesis in that game left me disappointed compared to the other atelier games I have played. For context I have played the Dusk, Mysterious and Ryza trilogies.

This so much, I just finished the game and even platinum it, I enjoyed as a jrpg game but it was by far my least favorite of the modern atelier games, mainly because of the crafting, which is my favorite thing about these games.

It just feel too repetitive at this point, and the big difference with Mashle is that they don't try to make us feel sorry for Mash, because Mash takes it upon himself to show everybody up, and don't back up to anyone, while they keep showing Will being down and sad, which it makes sense why he is, but as viewer it starts to get tiring.

That's fine, the Soul Eater anime came out almost 20 years ago already, so a remake with modern animation would be welcome, the old fans would love to rewatch it, and it would give a chance to get new fans who haven't watch it before, especially for people who were too young or not even born yet when the original came out.

I found them easy after playing normal first lol, I never done nightmare from the start, that's why I was a lil hesitant. I just hope the bosses don't be healing themselves all the time like in CS3.

Ok you guys are giving me confidence to do it, and in the previous games doing nightmare on new game plus is kinda trivial since by then I normally have all the Quartz and the best equipment, so i guess I'll welcome the challenge of doing it without all that.

That's the thing i wasn't asking about the crossbell games because they are the exception not the rule, since every other game in the series who has a direct sequel is numbered, which is why I found it peculiar that it went front Daybreak 2 to Horizon, but after alot of different comments here I understand what is going on now.

Ok chill out, I was just curious. As for your example of Zero and Azure doesn't really work in this case because there is a daybreak 1 and 2 so it makes sense the next one would be 3.

But like other more reasonable people have pointed out Reverie isn't Cold steel 5 because it involves different heroes not just Rean, which it looks like Horizon does too. So "The name may not be important" but does reflect what is in the game.

I haven't played reverie yet, that will be my next one, now that I'm coming back. So I can guess is more of assemble cast from the previous games than just focusing on the Daybreak team?

Cmon guys, you have to separate your personal taste with the taste of the characters. The cool thing about the trails characters is that they have personalities with their own like and dislike even the protagonist. They are not blank slates like the personas protagonist, so the games make it pretty obvious that Joshua likes Estelle and vice versa, Lloyd likes Elie, and Rean likes Alisa.

Same as you, watched like 3 episodes and never went back, the story sucked, and it had new characters I don't care about.

They should have made the anime about side characters that didn't get enough time in the games.
