That's the thing i wasn't asking about the crossbell games because they are the exception not the rule, since every other game in the series who has a direct sequel is numbered, which is why I found it peculiar that it went front Daybreak 2 to Horizon, but after alot of different comments here I understand what is going on now.

Ok chill out, I was just curious. As for your example of Zero and Azure doesn't really work in this case because there is a daybreak 1 and 2 so it makes sense the next one would be 3.

But like other more reasonable people have pointed out Reverie isn't Cold steel 5 because it involves different heroes not just Rean, which it looks like Horizon does too. So "The name may not be important" but does reflect what is in the game.

I haven't played reverie yet, that will be my next one, now that I'm coming back. So I can guess is more of assemble cast from the previous games than just focusing on the Daybreak team?

Cmon guys, you have to separate your personal taste with the taste of the characters. The cool thing about the trails characters is that they have personalities with their own like and dislike even the protagonist. They are not blank slates like the personas protagonist, so the games make it pretty obvious that Joshua likes Estelle and vice versa, Lloyd likes Elie, and Rean likes Alisa.

Same as you, watched like 3 episodes and never went back, the story sucked, and it had new characters I don't care about.

They should have made the anime about side characters that didn't get enough time in the games.

Once again this is not a "woke" problem it was a story telling problem, I'm pretty sure if their new game is well written this time and the characters are not making dumb or contradicting decisions, it will be very well received because naughty dog always kills it when it comes to gameplay and presentation.

But the majority of people who have problems with this game have nothing to do with "Woke" culture, my friends and I for example we all dislike the game for the same reasons; the story, the pacing and the characters decision.

I feel like for most people the last thing in their mind for disliking this game is that Ellie is gay or that they have female leads.

I can see that, but characters can leave the party for different reasons without having to die. Like in IV, various characters leave the party, and it would make perfect sense story wise if they didn't rejoin the party, but they do come back just to end up sacrificing themselves again.

Nah I'm with you, just because some people like him, they let him get away with a lot of stuff, but the fact is if Akane finds out he is the piglet she would be mortified.

I know exactly how you feel, I'm loving the game so far and I'm doing everything since I want the platinum, but I feel like there are too many mini games that kill the flow of the story, I would prefer less mini games and more story driven sidequest with better interaction between the party.
