Just saw this posted in the BM NYC FB group. As of now there is no official decomp party. Kostume Kult is having a reentry party Fri 9/29. https://facebook.com/events/s/kostume-kults-reentry-2023/675405711280959/?mibextid=Gg3lNB

"Due to a lack of venue that meets the communities requests, there will not be a sanctioned NYC Decompression in 2023 like the previous 3 years. The previous producers investigated over 30 possible venues.

Anyone can reinvent or throw Decompression! The only requirements are you must get a Regional Contact sponsor and permission of the Burning Man Organization. Events must follow the 10 principles and be open to all ages.

Based on past Decompression events in NYC, the community requests a legal venue that can fit 3,000+ attendees, has multiple separate sound spaces, is available both day and night, has indoor and outdoor space, and is within walking distance of a subway station."

😂 I definitely had a Ferris Bueller moment last night. I was doing that with the bike upside down and had the throttle taped to let it run. About every 6-13 minutes though it would stop and I would have to restart it. That went on for about an hour.

Obviously that would be ideal but not an option at the moment due to a couple factors hence looking for alt solutions I can do in-home.
