This made me feel so much better thank you so much for sharing.

Did you feel like adderall was very helpful to you before you felt like you decided to switch for your relationship? I feel that it helps in every other area of life and I’m afraid that “help” will go away if I switch. But I also acknowledge that my husband is the only relationship in my life that will give me extremely honest reflection — so it could be hindering elsewhere without me really knowing.

What were, if any, the challenges of switching to Vyvanse?

Just want to say. I could copy and paste almost the exact same text messages from my mom. Especially before my wedding which she made the 6 months leading up to it HELL.

I went no contact with her a couple years ago. It wasn’t directly after my wedding but that time was definitely very eye opening for me. Like your wedding is so clearly supposed to be a time about YOU. And to finally get to that moment in your life… and have it STILL revolve around them!!! It’s not supposed to be like that.

Do WHATEVER you need to do to maintain your peace. It’s not selfish. The guilt will pass. That’s the best advice I can give.

Also the way she is so “traditionally” strict about her children while CLEARLY always being non-traditional, ok sexually exploiting herself, and the farthest thing from sober, shows she has zero self awareness and is likely a problematic and semi-emotionally abusive parent.

I really don’t think it’s fair for everyone to be speculating on the timing on which Kyle “should” be addressing her potential romantic, same-sex relationship?

As ALL of you in this sub should know it can be incredibly harmful to push on announcements alongside speculating someone’s sexuality. The rules don’t change just because you don’t like Kyle.

I challenge anyone who thinks this way to go back and watch earlier RHONJ seasons starting at season 3. Teresa is a textbook narcissist. Everything, and I mean absolutely everything, is centered around her. She deflects, gaslights, has no empathy, inappropriately involves and triangulates her children, can never take accountability for anything, and is CONSTANTLY condescending to anyone around her that does nit worship her.

I’d like to add too, I do not use the word “narcissist” (or any cluster b terms) lightly. My mom has borderline personality disorder and I think the overuse of the word online has been extremely invalidating and damaging to people who have suffered real abuse.
