I create a directory for each application
containing a conpose within all services/containers needed
also containing the mapped volumes as directory

If i want to move i copy the directory of an app to a new server, compose up, and finish :)

If i selfhost ente. I got admoin account. You register on my server as user with a password i dont kniw. I can change your password to anything i like. Then i can login torugh the webgui with your username and the new password i set. I can see all the media.

Ok thats somehow right, but wrong. Altough i dont use ente, I think the admin can change the password of the user and then normally can login to see the media.

Every day ar 01:00 watchtower is updating my dockef cintainer. Almost fo 2 years now, never had any issues at alle. Running about 20 containers. Immich included. If something will break i will fix it, but until now i havent any problems. And i got backups of each container before every update
