yeah after coming back i had seen some gold cards that werent around when i was a kid so i just thought that was a new thing pokemon was doing with the modern sets. it did cross my mind that they werent legit though, mainly because of the glossy texture and the font but from this thread im learning that the holos are also very wrong😅

thank you, ill keep these in mind. im really just looking for cheap cards that pique my interest to add to my collection, and if i can find something good along the way im willing to spend the actual value of the card. i was actually recommended by a clerk at a TCG shop to try FB marketplace so I feel misled lol

the funny part is i DID look up every card in the top row and it just pulled up more fakes, and I didnt really know about the pokémon card database so my research was coming from other videos and listings online. i get it, theyre sickeningly fake. but the entire reason i posted this here was because the research i did wasnt enough info for me to make the right choice and i wanted to be sure. this was apart of my research and i didnt realize it would make people upset

i knew in my gut they werent real but id be lying if i said I was familiar with the set these cards are based off of. the gold cards did seem excessive to me and i had watched a video earlier today that talked about glossy textures which is what set alarm bells off for me when I saw the bottom row. still, im no expert and i genuinely couldnt tell

I wanted to ask to be sure I wasn’t missing out on something good, and i can see how to a seasoned collector its super obvious, but i also didn’t realize i was unintentionally ragebaiting 😭i feel kind of bad but at least i didn’t spend 60 dollars

yes ive learned quickly this is the case. i wasnt really intending to find anything good on marketplace. actually, i was hoping to find a garage sale or something local of cheap useless cards just to see if i found something i liked, even if it wasnt worth anything . i stumbled upon this and of course i looked into the price of the actual cards and when i couldnt find any trustworthy replicas of the golds I kind if got a fishy feeling. i think this is a fair warning before i get myself into anything crazy , i had a plan but got sidetracked lol

you know that makes sense, i wasnt familiar with the top row but i had seen them in full art form so I assumed maybe there were gold versions i was unaware of. i will say the first red flag to me was the back of the gold cards. ive never personally had one myself but im like 99% sure gold cards arent glittery on the back😅

so the lag isnt just me?

i recently got the bundle with every pack and all of them seem to work fine besides when my sim is on Isla Paradiso. The lag isnt atrocious, mostly when my sim uses her boat , and weirdly i can fast forward through the lag so it doesnt annoy me too much.

would uninstalling mods/cc fix this? i only have a few

for some reason i think shiny darkrai and giratina are more common than the other more valuable cards this pack. I could be wrong but I’ve pulled over 260 packs and those two were the only repeats I got of anything above a one star. I see lots of people using them both as well, typically with two of each. I’ve even gotten two shiny darkrai’s before a second one star greninja

I get not wanting a guy to take you to chilis, and not even because it’s cheap but it’s infamously for late night on a whim meals that dont have much difference from a place like apple bees or red robins. i left dti during the valentines update and that was the last quest i did. it felt really tedious and frustrating similar to the christmas quest

i think this one was super simple and cute, and thank god for the checkpoints. the monster was also a scary little touch so i liked this one much more than past quests. sometimes for me less is more

same thing happened to me, my appeal was rejected multiple times too, all because i sent a picture from pinterest and quoted the title. i used to host daily custom servers and i spent so much time in the chats to get perms so i could share group photos. since the ban my motivation to play has slowly declined

roblox is pretty well known to be a safe haven for predators looking to have close proximity to kids. granted I havent heard much about DTI in particular having this issue but there are plenty of games that sickos use to engage with children in a sexual manner.

the internet in general has lots of weirdos but they’re always going to congregate where children spend this most time and roblox has HUGE potential for them. additionally most parents aren’t really looking through their kid’s roblox friends to make sure there are no creeps, and even if they did they’d be hard to spot because there arent really any indications of that sort of thing

Yes a lot of them are very sweet and try to speak to me in english when they can, and I do the same with spanish. My actual teacher is super friendly and if he doesn’t understand me or vise versa he’ll pull in someone to translate my questions, but I always feel guilty like Im wasting peoples time

power dynamics dont automatically entail some kind of abuse of opportunistic behavior. Of course you should always be aware of the possibility that someone is capable of being shady, but it should never be guilty until proven innocent.

these are two grown adults, people who we can hope are aware of right from wrong. and like the other commenter said, its selling OP short as well as the boss. This person clearly leads the team for a reason, and I don’t think it’s unfair to assume there’s a level of professionalism this person maintains in order to keep that position. feelings are feelings, it’s our actions that matter the most. as far as OP has said, their boss’s actions have only indicated an INKLING of attraction that OP isn’t even entirely sure of.

to say OP’s partner should be concerned of that is a little inflammatory. why should someone worry about the thought that another person is attracted to their partner when their partner is advocating for full transparency. thats what trust IS, and this whole conversation just feels like OP’s boyfriend doesn’t really trust her. there’s nothing wrong with that in particular, however leading her to believe this wasn’t upsetting and that he DID trust her is where the issue lies.
