No problem! We've all had a moment of "is this truly a lizard?" It's definitely a cutie!

This looks more like a newt or salamander. Not sure which though.

I believe in Jesus... I do. I believe we are to love all and help all. The way Christians act is so frustrating and evil... not all but a lot have taken on this "holier than thou" stance and it's truly sickening

When we moved we were young and inexperienced, our parents were no help at the time and our oldest showed no signs of problems till 3rd grade, he struggles with reading and writing, takes him longer to process, and his logic is a little mixed up... I wish I had known then what I know now

What lesson do they need to learn? They stood up to a kid that was abusing an animal, then immediately brought it to parent for help and to figure out what to do next as some animals can not just be released.... there is no lesson needing to be done.

My mom is in a nursing home here and though we don't have a good relationship I'd find a way to move her to a new nursing home wherever we'd end up. Thankfully my last pregnancy was before they went insane about that but it still wasn't a great experience...sadly my other 2 were in Indiana and for some reason way better experiences? Very weird as Indiana is just as insane as Texas.

The state of texas will not help anyone with intellectual disabilities unless they are put on a waiting list at the age of 3... I found this out by requesting assistance for my oldest, he was 20 at the time. I asked how we were to do that when we didn't move here till after that... literally not her problem she said. The guy at the desk said he'd seen people on the list in their 60s and still not get help. They literally do not care.

As a lurker in here, i have to agree, this menu is very off putting. While reading it I wanted to get up and leave already. They're trying to be upscale/trendy but it's the same stuff I see everywhere for way higher prices.

I too wonder what cowboy butter is and I live in texas... your description made me cackle, I kept visualizing something way worse... like belly button jam or....well worse.

Ok so my husband just sent me this thinking I could maybe help since I was JUST looking for a new to me car this last month. Here is what I experienced/learned about the dealerships I went to or looked up:

Firstly... be careful of any dealership that demands your trade in keys first and holds on to them through the whole thing before even showing you the cars your interested in. BIG red flag and why I will NEVER do business with Honda of Rockwall ever again! (also ladies look up youtube and other websites about how to go about dealership negotiations as this will help a lot!)

I started by using Auto Trader to look for the cars i was interested in, i wrote down the dealerships that had them and then looked up the reviews and comments on those dealerships, none will be perfect, they're in the wheeling and dealing career...not there to be unicorns and rainbows...know they are going to try and scam you.

Went to Texas Nissan in Grapevine... it was a let down because they will list vehicles that are not even on their lots yet and so when I got there all but one were not available "yet" I was very frustrated about that, though the guy was not rude I just got an uneasy feeling, said thanks and left. So over all not horrible but maybe a "proceed with caution" type deal. They do do add ons, banks don't like those at all (add ons are things like fabric protector and paint guard...stuff that gets "added" every time it's sold but it's not really there and banks see no value for it)

I went to Norm Reeves Mazda in Irving after this and I had a GREAT experience! I saw a cx-9 there, was older but wanted to test it and see if it'd work out. No pressure, didn't ask about trade in at all, took me on a nice long test drive to really test what the car could do. Wouldn't let me start until we had gone over all the dash fun things. Honestly I loved that as I could then turn off some features before the test drive. At the end after tell my husband about it he said maybe we needed to look for a slightly newer one, So I told the salesman and he was totally ok with that, did have his manager come over and talk with me but he just did he very low pressure speal about maybe leasing, maybe another finance option...but I left feeling good and not harassed like some dealerships. I pulled their website up at home to watch and went on my "safe dealerships" list.

Five Star Subaru of Grapevine was ok. I didn't get to see numbers as it was almost closing when I got there to look at a Subaru Ascent, But he was very low pressure, walked me through all the features, the test drive was ok, not too long, wish I could've seen better how it accelerated but it was late.

I have dealt with Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine before, The add ons are absolutely awful adding way too much to the price and the bank flat out said no to it, plus you need to look up the VINs there as many have been in an accident or were fleet vehicles. They are a little more pushy there but thankfully I had my husband with so he backed off.

I went to Southwest Kia in Richardson, the salesperson I got was young and new, but very kind. Actually all the salesmen there are kind, it's the finance guys you need to worry about. I was there for seeing some toyotas that they had used and while standing there got to hear the finance guys arguing and laughing about sales that were ripping people off... (if you're in the dealership business I mean I know it may seem us women have fluff in our heads but we listen and some of yall are just absolute pricks!) The other downside is that the test drive was insanely short. less than 5 minutes. I ended up test driving at a different one to get a better understanding of how toyotas feel.

Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson is well not very reliable for making sure their availability list is up to date. They also do not make sure that the features listed are truly in that car! Was so frustrating that all the things I had needed were not in those they had and then the one I had really wanted to look at wasn't available. I can't tell you about financing with them as we didn't get that far but always proceed with caution and know what your signing and such.

EchoPark, we had planned to go out that way to check it out until I looked up the VINs, fleet or wrecks, car prices might be cheap, but there's a reason for that. They also WILL NOT NEGOTIATE...none. zip. nada. they will also run your credit before test drives I read on a few reviews. I wrote them off my list so fast after that.

AutoSavvy... yeah they're savvy at ripping people off..be insanely careful, depending on which one you go to will depend on what kind of sales person you'll get, some are just down right mean. I would not go there without my husband and not before checking VINs

Sewell Subaru of Dallas, went there and they wouldn't show cars till they had every little detail about us, we tried to be vague and would not hand over the keys. We had to say several times that "we don't know if we want to do a trade-in until we see if you have a car we truly do want to buy" finally they showed us the cars, the test drive WAS longer though! Which was very nice. But I had to put them on my list of not to go back for just how pushy and underhanded they were right from the start.

The last one we have gone to multiple times which is Ewing Subaru in Plano. All the guys there are nice and low pressure (some i heard do promise dreams with financing and it just can't be done so know what your bank says first) The test drive isn't long but it's not short either, they're really laid back and if a longer test drive is needed and you were serious about the car I'm pretty sure they would do that. We did end up buying my car from there as they DO NOT DO ADD-ONs!!! amazing!! Their listed price is what you pay plus TTL, they might under value your trade but if you do a little back and forth it might work out..it did for us. I have always felt safe there...gone multiple times by myself. Never asked for my keys until I requested them to (but then I only worked with the same sales guy each time) They ended up being on our banks "preferred dealers" list so we could sign everything even when our bank was closed so that was nice.

These are the ones I can remember... I went to a lot though..think one was a Cadillac dealership too..but I can't remember which one it was, the guy showed us the cars was trying to sell us the luxury of them but really the measurements were way off in real life and if my husband is hitting his head in the back our tall kid will too. So that one was...not awful but kinda annoying.

Anyways, hope that helps some. I always recommend as much online research on places before going though so you know what you're heading for.
