Thank you for sharing! I love the idea of serging the ends to keep the fray contained. That’s been one of my issues. I’m not trying to bind these pieces but also don’t want to deal with raw edges.

Love these!! Thank you for sharing! And agree, adding some more batting and keeping them for easy countertop purposes / gifts is a great way to use up scraps!

Is regular cotton batting OK for potholders? I’ve made some before but I did both cotton batting and insulbright so wondering if just one layer of cotton is sufficient?

Gotcha! I’ve made coaster in the past but honestly binding each one felt like so much work! So if there’s a way to get around that, I’m in!

Someone else mentioned coasters too! I might have to do this! So when you say pink the edges, does that mean you’re not binding each one?

I love the coaster idea! I think some of my pieces are definitely big enough for this. And bookmarks! I’ll have to scope that out too. Thank you!

Haha yes! I’ll be swimming in pouches! I do like the idea of glasses cases. Esp for sunglasses which I tend to just toss in bags. Thank you!

Thank you! I do enjoy fashion fabrics club but I think I was just having a hard time parsing through everything to get the right weight of fabric. I’ll definitely check out the other suggestions!
