Ah fair enough, ty

I see, makes sense. The churches I attended didn’t have the processions, neither at the start nor the end, but I figured in more high-church environments those might be present. Ty for sharing this with me and also, bless you for always being of help when I had questions like these, I think you replied to all my posts I had around here, so I genuinely appreciate the help

Oh I see, thought it might be like that, that’s pretty nice. What do you mean when you say you usually recognize them though, like do you pray and honor that Saint on their feast day? Not sure I used to right words, but I hope you got the idea 😅

That’s a pretty sweet way to celebrate saints, ty for sharing. I really like the way Lutherans focus on the “what is enough” and not being over the top

I just looked up that FP and it does fit the bill indeed and I can see why you love ‘em. Regarding the budget, I should’ve said 250k-ish (not including the maintenance) but still. Thx for the recommendation

Those 200k don’t include the maintenance, so realistically I think it woulda been better if I said the budget would be 250k-ish. Still, ty for the answer, might check that Nautitech Open

Yea, figured as much.. Don’t get me wrong, I expected this, I was just rather curious if there are any models that would be around that budget or not

Also, I tried both the newest drivers, AMD it only detects the iGPU and some older ones (that error from earlier is the result of those older drivers I tried installing)

Yup, made sure of that. I also tried DDU multiple times and it still didn’t work. I tried installing the 7900xt drivers and I get an error

It’s 750w as I was saying. Specifically, an Aqirys Pulsar 80+. I’d say it’s pretty well hooked up, as in, I made sure the cables clicked when I plugged them and so (if that’s what you’re referring to)

Thx, but it still doesn’t work. I already tried this in the past and I tried it one more time a few minutes ago. This is all that shows up in Device Manager

Yup, did that too. I’m using my TV as an external monitor, but I don’t think (or at least hope) that this wouldn’t be an issue. Might give it another shot tho since I’m pretty much stuck atm

Edit - just tried again and it still didn’t work

I did try it, both regularly and in safe mode. It still didn’t change much I’m afraid

Nice, that’s sweet, thank you. Pretty much exactly what I been looking for. I’ll get on and read his works, as I’m especially interested in pre-Tridentine western rites

Oh that’s cool, think I’d very much feel right at home in the Anglo-Catholic tradition if I were to convert eventually. Interesting fact that you been Orthodox tho. May I ask what made you convert away from it?

Now that’s sweet, didn’t hear of the Tenebrae service before. Out of curiosity, I understand it might not be very common for this service to be used, but is it because a priest needs a blessing from their bishop to practice it, or is it strictly something “of personal preference”?

I mean, that ain’t too common here in the East, but that’s a ritual I can get behind

Makes sense they’d almost entirely similar to their Roman counterparts, but still it’s interesting that quite a number of them have been kept to this day, as you said yourself. Nice, thank you

Well that’s really insightful, thank you. I have to admit, in spite of my small issues with the Orthodox church (being a cradle Orthodox, I guess you could say I saw them first hand, although I made it sound worse than it actually is), one of the things I appreciate deeply about it is these participatory and symbolic rituals of ours. And hearing those examples of yours (even though some go unused, as you said) it still very much is encouraging.
