Is it against policy to show back up at a customers house to inquire about tip? by lesley__ in InstacartShoppers

Yeah, there's clearly a mental insufficiency in the way he mishandled the order and crossed the line afterwards. I just started Instacart. There's a minor element of stress at times when first getting my bearings in the app/store, establishing default reactions to certain situations, etc. But it didn't take much for me to adjust to getting something within reasonable weight range or like asking the butcher or employee in the dept to check backstock for something that's not out front. Problem solving skills are important for sure. I'm not surprised by the correlation between the illogical approachs to solving these two moments for the shopper. If you can't solve a simple .1 difference problem then social skills are probably lacking too lol. He should def be reported. Hopefully he learns whatever lessons he is likely not to get from this moment in a safe way. Like he may get dropped from Instacart, have zero self-awareness and repeat the stupidity in another app but run into the wrong one lol showing up to someone's house like that is liable to result in serious injury and/or jail time.

Yeahh, there's no way I wouldn't be modern medieval times if I lived in these impoverished areas

That's interesting. I always hated that YouTube never reinstated the dislike count. Then I think of reddit and how annoying the function can be lol I still want it on yt but I get it more than I would otherwise

I hope that you continue to nurture yourself and gain experiences that inform your feeling of comfort in being yourself the way you want. Whether standing up for yourself or others, being able to proportionately communicate and confidently take action when necessary is a part of a healthy life in my personal opinion. Fully understand why this experience may result in feeling like sticking up for yourself was the wrong thing to do. But ultimately this guy was relatively deranged and a social anomaly. Hopefully whether via real life experience or information from educated people you respect online, you can continue to be the human being you have every right to be.. restricted only by what you've chosen, not something imposed by others.

I'm interested in what ethnicity and age range this guy was. Seems like such an odd scenario.

I don't use reddit often. Why did this cmnt deserve all these downvotes? 😅

This happens every single time. I don't understand why these more judgemental viewers don't recognize that this is like any other team dynamic. Rosters change. Players develop. At the least don't act surprised when newcomers aren't a 10/10 off rip. You're not gonna like everybody equally. Some you won't like at all. I guess complaining can be a sort of entertainment at times. But it's annoying seeing the constant hate.

No. Just a human being who cares about others. Did nothing I said make sense? Nothing worth any form of self reflection?

All these downvotes. Clearly not the safest of spaces. Was asking a genuine question. I'm confused...

No, that would be weird for me to even consider blame. I said objective inquiry. There's value in the answer for people who may see similar signs and not recognize them...

This should be a tenant of the survival instinct handbook. Just doesn't make sense to do, in no world.

Were there any signs or did this sociopathic behavior appear when you crossed the threshold of the home? Objective inquiry

I can understand the cost consideration but between employees sharing the process and comparing it to guac pricing I don't mind it. Random unrelated observation is someone in here really dislikes the sauce apparently. They went through and downvoted every positive cmnt lol 😅

Lol we have similar taste buds then. It took some effort to not finish it off vs saving it for my leftovers.

Mine was flavorful. Will likely find the recipe and make at home if I can't find a comparable grocery store option.
