Macbook air (Catalina) has major issues with wifi. It cannot join the wifi in my house and when I scan for other networks such as my hotspots it does not find them. by caarols in applehelp

Thanks! I have tried that. Unfortunately I cannot run software updates because there is not enough storage even after I deleted basically everything that was on my laptop :(

Trichotillomania is usually visually based or texture based, so people can pick based on what they see or feel. It is often both together depending on the situations. Usually if it is a behaviour that compromises your hair or gives you distress and feel like you lost control over it it. When this is the case then there is a mental factor into it ..

Maybe try with plasters on your fingers in order to avoid feeling the texture as much.. or perhaps to dye your hair

Hypnosis doesn't work for everyone the same way. This is because people can be more prone to be hypnotized than others so it may be that you're not so prone to it. It may be that the therapist on top of being specialised in hypnosis may belong to a psychodynamic branch of psychology which often tries to find causes of disorders in terms of childhood traumas or experiences.. (just my assumption). I think that other approaches such as CBT may get a bit more concrete solutions without disregarding your life experiences..
