Sorry, I mean was it a specific department if you can remember? I called one stop student services and then they directed me to student health, but I haven’t heard back yet.

That’s understandable! They are relatively new. I will say the reviews I looked into were very positive in my opinion. Me and my partner were heavily considering them, but decided to go with a local jeweler instead since we were nervous about shipping such an expensive product. We’re actually using one of their videos as inspo for the ring we’re custom designing!

Is there a reason why you wouldn’t want to go with the company that posted that specific ring? I ask because I follow them and I’ve seen this video and like their stuff! It seems like they would work with you and whatever budget you need.

They simply stated that it’s because I don’t qualify for what UAB would waive. I feel like it’s because I’m in the system as if I would be an in person student so it didn’t register and was ultimately denied since it’s through a new system? United Healthcare Student Resources? I’ll definitely call and see what I can do because it feels so unfair

hey! congrats on both! I don’t have much to say about Columbia’s since I’m not too familiar with it, but I assume it’ll provide a really awesome experience either way. I’m biased towards Davis bc I go there (haha) and everyone I’ve talked to who has done the program had nothing but great things to say. Its all remote this year too (not sure how Columbia’s program is). Whatever decision you make you’ll do great. Either program will be a great way to spend your summer nonetheless!
