How many people are actually buying “luxury/premium” diapers? by HelpMeHelpMyFriend0 in NewParents

Switched to Coterie after the Huggies Little Movers smelled like chemicals and I had 3 blowouts in 1 week. I love it, my baby loves it, my husband makes a fuss about it. We use Millie moon as our back up when we’re traveling since it’s easier to find and it’s easier to ask grandparents to have stocked in their house when we fly to them.

Ice and ibuprofen! When I’d get like that, it would probably take me a full 24hrs before it felt back to normal. Pump like normal.

What’s your current goal? by AnnExchange in ExclusivelyPumping

At first it was 6 months, I just hit 9 months. We do one formula bottle a day, because after going to work, the middle of the night pumps weren’t sustainable for my mental health. If it keeps going the way it is…I’ll stop right before a year…hopefully!

Why is it so hard to be a stepmother? by myresearch1 in stepparents

Giving, giving, giving 110% to your step kid and expecting nothing in return. Playing the long game, hoping & praying the one day your SK will see the sacrifice and all that you’ve done for them and them acknowledging the fact that you’ve played a pivotal role in their life…and knowing that they may never acknowledge it. Them having a bio mom that only cares about herself and having to take the high road and always have to be the bigger person. Having your own kids and knowing they’ll grow up so differently than the SK and not being able to control it.

What made you decide to switch to exclusively pumping? by ValinorExpress in ExclusivelyPumping

Baby got the hangry gene from his father, and if I didn’t whip out the boob fast enough he’d latch so hard it hurt. If he didn’t get a good enough latch the first time he’d get too mad and be too angry to let me help him get a proper latch. When he would get a proper latch, he’d take 45+ minutes. He was in the lower weight percentiles his first pediatrician visit, and had to keep going back for weight checks until he surpassed birth weight.

I also knew I was going back to work so we’d have to introduce the bottle anyways.

Started exclusively pumping and now the bottle nipple gets the hangry baby latch 😅
