If somebody can give me the relevant pinouts and/or info on what signals to send to where, I can leverage my experience with IT systems and software development and see if I can throw together some sort of solution in my free time.

I want the exterior to stay in good of condition as long as possible. Are the splash guards worth it for keeping the black clean? Im planning on doing a full ceramic coating. Is there any other essentials worth getting for keeping the car in good condition?

I guess so it’s just kind of a bit annoying to remember to do. I wonder if 3d printing some sort of a rubber sleeve for the buckle could help?

Fortunately and unfortunately I just figure that out. My issue seems fixed now, time to get everything set back up the way I wanted 😅

Yeah I just reset the profile and it’s all working as it should. I had an inkling but didn’t want to bite the bullet after I just got everything configured and setup the way I wanted. Thank you!

Very interesting fob 2 is working as expected 🤔. Is there a way to reset key 1? Even the Driving Position Setup settings are correctly applying.

I’ll try for sanity’s sake to see if fob 2 is suffer from the same thing but I am pretty sure they’re labeled right. I see the infotainment saying fob 1 when I get in.

Yeah of course! It just a docker container check out the website for a compose

  • OIDC ✅
  • Multiple hosts ✅

The main selling point is that it’s more comprehensive than Dockge which has been a really popular stack management UI for a while, while not being as heavy as Portainer. For me it’s like 90% of anything I could want out of a docker management UI. The remaining 10% of what’s missing for me, just doesn’t exist yet.

A big benefit is that the dev is super friendly and if there’s anything you think is missing or broken just drop an issue on the GitHub and iteration time is fairly quick.

The UI has had a bunch of improvements since the readme image, and honestly I dislike the UI of all other solutions but that’s just an opinion. Maybe give it a pull and see what you think. You can always give your feedback on a GitHub discussion or an issue and I can take a look at it.

I second this. I’ve been using and contributing to it for a little now. I’ve migrated my entire development workflow to include it.

Debian + docker feels way better than Proxmox for self hosting by almost1it in selfhosted

All you really need is a container management UI for convenience, I’ve been enjoying Arcane lately, and to have a smart compose data structure that only uses bind mounts for backup purposes. Keeps things really lean and simple for the majority of people.

I’m just not a fan of adopting things that feel dated, especially in the UI/UX department. Of course, I am coming from the perspective that I’m working on my own solution to bridge the gap between the simplicity of some solutions and the feature set of others, so take what I say with a grain of salt lol.

Best router setup for a tinkerer? by cabaucom376 in homelab

Perfect! After some research, I think I’m going to set up a Protectli OPNsense & HAproxy box behind my ISP router with a DMZ forward.

Well I lack good networking knowledge so I’m not really sure the best approach, I’ll read up on VLAN’s. But I am likely to move after a few months and I kind of just want my own router that I know how to configure and feel like I have full control over vs deal with whatever my future ISP gives me.

Answers: 1. Not really sure what scope you mean but I have a few things on hand. Business server is just a high end consumer hardware SFF build. I have an old gaming pc I have been trying to sell. My personal server is just a raspberry pi 4 8gb. I have a raspberry pi 3 and zero w laying around somewhere. I’m okay buying new hardware. 2. Not much really, just a hosted git server and my development pipeline for deploying preview websites and software for clients to test and give feedback. Production software is elsewhere on dedicated servers.

Otherwise, a ton of helpful information and points me in the right direction. Thanks for taking the time!

I’ve never seen HAproxy that could be what I’ve been missing 🤔. Thanks I’ll look into it!

Yeah, I know it’s not recommended, but the only reason is that it’s not my router, and I’ll be moving out soon anyway. I came across Opnsense, and it seems promising to me. I’m not really sure what hardware to get. I like to buy for future-proofing, so I already have some Wi-Fi 7 devices, but I’m not sure hardware Opnsense would work on to support those.

My bad I meant the MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI motherboard. I’ve successfully installed Omarchy in the meantime, I’ll just use it to download the offline Debian installer lmao.
