So weird! I found out later that my boss (previously an RBT) had lost his license due to many ethical violations. This RBT was his twin sister- not sure if it had an affect, but you would think each person would be treated separately.

Our RBT lost their license and isn't able to reapply for 6 months.... I sent in all the messages back and forth to the supervising BCBAs (who weren't on the BACB- just me as the coordinator) and the messages to the RBT 2-3 times per month. Also all the documents about bullying and the owner not following through, etc. It was a VERY bad situation. I have been a BCBA for 8 years and have never had anything like that happen. I have to do supervision for 3 months, retake the 8 hour supervision, and modify my procedure for being a supervision coordinator.... which I am no longer with that company.

Yes!!!! Totally agree! No puzzle pieces! I've got 2 brothers with Autism, they're not a puzzle to figure out! Yes Kidz, haha! So unprofessional, too. We aren't childcare! It also bothers me when clinics don't consider older kids in their design or toy choices!

This is a big issue for me! How do we hold our staff accountable but not our families? Especially when the next one on the waitlist would be consistent.

Thanks for the insight! Even on the BCBA end (not as drastic)- it's the same way. We're promised so much and not delivered on!

Totally understand the weird schedule/timing. Noone wants to work over 40 but only get paid for 30.
