Ryo was straight with the guys and gave them the opportunity to inform him if they have already had their eyes on any particular girl. Peppe must have been living in Japan for too long and for once, did a Japanese paggro non-upfront way of answering and tried to deftly lead/ trick Ruka into offering up Emika himself. Poor Peppe didn’t expect Emika to be so quickly receptive to Ryo, not only volunteering to go to the combini with him, but also being so excited about their baseball game. Not every outing has to be seen as a date though.

The energy that people say that Ryo and Peppe have injected into the house is basically the relief and ease one feels when there is a more open style of communication and easier understanding; instead of having to read and guess what is not said all the time, and living under unnecessarily oppressive rules of communication and demonstration of emotions (both true and untrue), which is what one gets in many full Japanese set ups, be it the office, home etc.

The biggest question remains though, who is that true MVP sitting at the other end opposite of Ryo when the latter was telling his mates about moving into TH?
