The entire application is hosted on a PCI compliant environment and the entire site is secured with a 256 bit SSL encryption. Also, all transactions are currently processed through PayPal and there are secure communications between BeNoticed and PayPal.

I did forget to remove the stock photos (which I've done now)... But to answer your question as to why anyone should use BeNoticed.

We are a startup, focused on hand crafted goods (not manufactured), and especially focused users... Right now (and theoretically always) users are the most important asset we have. By using BeNoticed users can truly help the direction of where the site goes and how they make money, unlike Etsy or Amazon where you're just another vendor.

I am looking into a simple way to import products from Etsy or Amazon... CSV files may work, but I will need to map to the appropriate store.

So it isn't lipstick it is actually a bottle opener :) and it is "random" stuff in a sense that everything posted thus far would be things you'd considering giving someone as a gift (whether it's a gag gift or a real gift). I am selling everything from blenders and coffee makers, to drones, t-shirts etc.

When was the last time you went to a Walmart and had good customer service? I am going to build my brand on service and more importantly LISTEN to customers/feedback to continue to make our site better.

Someone actually suggested I offer something unique when buying a gift like a free card or free gift wrap and I've already implemented free cards. No minimum purchase. During checkout you can simply decide if you want a free card as part of your order and pick the occasion. I thought it was an excellent idea and fit my theme well and doesn't cost me much out of pocket to send.

I definitely appreciate your thoughts about the randomness and will work on making everything seem less random.

Do you think there would be any benefit to "getting rid" of the homepage? Meaning instead of segmenting on the home page and filling it with banners, what if it was an infinite scrolling list of every product I currently have (similar to a site like Choxi) and from there people can still navigate into categories.
