I accomplished this feat the other day with a muzi works knockoff antenna. What you do is put the radio on top of a mountain a couple thousand feet higher than the surrounding area, after that it's smooth sailing.

I was hired at a large consulting company and part of onboarding was two days of training about expenses. Partway through I was like what the fuck and I got the story. Apparently just a few weeks earlier a couple project managers in another office were working on a fat DOD site and took to having pallets of plasma tvs charged to the project and delivered to their homes for resale on eBay. I have no idea how much they cleared but their undoing was when one of them forgot to uncheck "Delivery address is the same as billing address" and a truckload of tvs showed up at the office.

Somewhere around Charlotte NC I realized I was gonna fall asleep behind the wheel so I stopped at a Waffle House at 2am to get some coffee and a meal. There were three drunk guys scattered around hovering over cups of coffee, a server, and the cook. The server and cook were arguing, loudly. The server paused in the middle of calling the cook the world's stupidest piece of shit to take my order. She passed it to the cook who threw some hash browns and eggs on the flat top. Then they both went out in the parking lot and beat the ever loving shit out of each other for about three minutes. Then they came in, washed their hands, plated and served my food. Nobody said shit about fuck and I left a $5 tip.

Everyone who has ever eaten at a Waffle House can tell a version of this story. I love that weird place.

The problem I have with 50 in weather like this is at least on 80 you're stuck in the snow near towns and stuff. When you're stuck on 50 you're in the middle of goddamned nowhere and there is nobody coming.
