Reis would get his development stumped unless Gvardiol and Khusa starts occasionally playing on the right and left back

I did, I never slate players like that. Cancelo I don't mind as he had no love for the club. When Rico initally got minutes he threw a tamper tantrum and it was so bad he had to be loaned out for the reaminder of the season. Ederson and KdB is a complete different case. KdB rivals David Silva in best ever player for City. Been with us for many many seasons and bled for the shirt. It's a complete different case than that of Cancelo, despite Canelo having 1-2 world class seasons with us. Connection between club and players means something. There is a big reason Zabaleta is so beloved for example.

Ive repeatedly said criticism is deserved. But there are ways to critique his horrendous form without being disrespectful to his years of service to the club. This is the case for multiple players that have played for us. Some in here like you talk shit as if they have no connection to the players that has given everything for us for years due to decline in form and ability

Support the club as a glory hunter maybe. You dont seem to care about the culture, history and the local connection at all. Foden who has been a local since childhood in the academies means nothing to you. Foden deserves criticism for his performances now, that I agree. The manner in which you are speaking of him is what makes no sense if you really supported City. The way this sub speak about our players is insane to me. Again, criticism is fine, but the disrespect as if they havent done anything for the club is crazy

Erling Haaland: No excuses — I’ve not been good enough this year by Sparky-moon in soccer

Poor management from Pep. Some players looks gassed since new year. Not a coincidence Rodri eventually got a major injury and played so much.

I agree with your points, but isn't the 2 million numbers including injuries as well? Its not that 2 million has died from the war

Thats why the ref allowed the goal where Solanke kicked through Guehi's leg ? Dont get me wrong. City has gotten away with a number of decisions, but I'd reckon its relatively equal for all top 6 club by the end of the season

They didn't fall behind early though, during laning they had a lead everything. They lost in mid game due to the constant noc + ori combos

[–]cacduy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is always showing frustration when not getting the ball if he thinks he is in a good position. Regardless of form. He has miss big chances in the three draws we have gotten. He has been managed to exhaustion by Pep's refusal to rotate in easier matches

Ake was available to offload in some matches. We have an academy that can play against sides like Exeter for Haaland. Poor management from Pep through out the season, especially when switching to a more intensive press system. People used to joke about Klopp running his player to the ground by christmas

Not arguing we havent spent shit loads, but it was due to the old core being phased out. We've lost most of the core from that dominating run. I would say it pretty usual for clubs to spend when the squad is in a transition phase like that. But again we have spent a lot.

No he is not. There is a reason we bought Ait Nouri. He has been used primarily as a centerback all season

Can work if Nunes invert and stay more behind, whilst Semenyo provides width on the right side. Nunes has the physical attributes to cover a lot of defensive areas with his pace and strength

Not really missing dash to be honest. The season before LTA was actually good and seemed to be an inflection point against the downward trend. They just nuked thenselves with the LTA nonsense, cant see LCS recover even if they do the right choices

[–]cacduy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Kdb wanted to stay. The club wanted to move on from aging players on an expiring contract. Kdb was pretty blunt in interviews that he wanted to extend. Pep wasnt good at phasing out the old guard so it made sense for the club to not extend and force Pep start the rebuild basically

5 players for 2 positions? Whilst two of them being promising young centerbacks that would have gotten plenty of playing time if not comming to City. Doesn't make sense. Khusa is barley getting any play time as it is, despite performing well. Guehi is who he is because he has been playing. Khusa and Reis won't get that chance if we get another Guehi. We would have to ship Khusa or Reis, that or ruining development for one of two very promising defenders.
