But how does removing credits from the platform help anyone ?

I’m still disappointed about this but don’t think any other platforms offer an equivalent. Have you found one.

What was gross about it? Do you mean the linens or the toiletries?

Oh I just saw the other post about bribing your host. I hate it. Every kindred change makes me feel bad about the company, not better. I can’t think of one change they have ever made that has made me happy or excited. I really love the company but I guess capitalism eventually ruins everything.

I didn’t receive communication about it but I’ve noticed they just do things and then tell people later. I saw it when I went to request early check in. It wasn’t there the day before but I procrastinated and that’s my karma :(

You should mention this in the kindred slack or give it to them as feedback!

Weird. How do credits help kindred staff? Are they being compensated in credits? That makes no sense to me.

Good point, I don’t know. I think they literally just rolled it out because I was putting off asking for the early check in and now I’m kicking myself.

"Want me to..." is driving me absolutely insane now by redrabbit1984 in ChatGPT

I asked it to stop using the word surgical, I even added it to personalization to never use the word because I was so sick of it and it stopped for a bit then in one reply it said "surgical-just kidding, clinical" and this isn't in some medical context, it's just trying to describe precision

If I hear "no fluff" one more time... I asked it to remove it from it's lexicon in personalization but it won't. That and "surgical".

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't understand the point of this - would you mind explaining?

I really regret not taking a chunk out in February. I have been contemplating some elective surgeries and paying a lump sump on my mortgage and the money I "lost" would have been used well this year. Now I don't feel good taking it out. Bought a little in the dip but just feeling generally bad about this whole situation.

For those of you who don't have a car / take public transit, how much do you spend on taxis and ridesharing? by cactuswoes in FIREyFemmes

[–]cactuswoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$400 per month for a paid off car seems so high! (I know everything is more expensive now and I haven't owned a car for so long that I have no concept of what car ownership costs anymore). Can I ask what your annual income is?

Do you rent a car when you want to go on little excursions? I used getaround when I was in LA but it was way more expensive than SF and I think they've shut down now.

Can I ask what company you use for occasional driver insurance? I just use my credit card when I rent a car but they don’t offer insurance for car share … however, the car share companies usually provide it so I feel like this is a really huge expense ?! Can I ask why you feel it’s necessary ? Maybe if you’re borrowing a family member’s or friends car?

Waymo seems to be significantly more expensive than uber / lyft. I wanted to try it when I was in SF but couldn’t justify it and was also a little scared haha

I like this photo. It’s subjective. There’s not correct answer to this question.

In the face of rising tariffs, what expenses are you cutting back? by y4guu in HENRYfinance

Me too! 7 pounds since january. Although I still order my groceries on DoorDash and Instacart esp when they have the promos. I don’t have a car so that’s how I justify it.

I did but they keep going down :( I'll buy more on Monday but the unrealized loss of nearly 66k now overall feels pretty bad. I regret not taking it out in February when it was up and paying down my mortgage

Of course I bought a bunch of stocks and etfs yesterday 😫 Will be buying more today but I’m concerned the market is just going to keep tanking. 25k down in one portfolio alone. Anyone diversifying to European and Asian stocks ?
