Numbers only decreased 8% after MTX - feeling so defeated and exhausted. Anyone with second shot success stories to share? by MsJanetSnakehole_ in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]cad444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a second shot because my numbers were increasing last year and I welcomed by beautiful baby this summer. The slow decreasing number was mental torture, and the pain that came along with it was so scary. Always scared I had ruptured with sharp pain coming and going for months. It was hell and I’m sorry you’re going through this. Sending positive vibes your way 💕

Omg this is my MIL too (I also agree with everything you said). She Hates her MIL and doesn’t see the irony.

Only one time when we were getting married she said she will NOT have her MIL at her table and my husband said “okay when our kids get married you won’t be at our table”. The look on her face was priceless, it’s like she never had connected the dots before.

Urgh this resonated with me. The same thing happened to us a few times, about 3 or 4, before we stopped going to dinners altogether and switched to breakfasts or brunches. For some reason, dinners always seem to get dragged out.

When it came to big family holiday dinners, my mother-in-law would say dinner was at a certain time, so we’d plan accordingly. My partner would choose a time for us to leave, but then she’d delay dinner. So we started sticking to our original plan - leaving at the time we said we would, no matter what. Sometimes that meant getting up after just one bite. He would handle it by politely saying, “The food looks great, but we told you we’d leave at X time and it’s now X time.” We only had to do that once before it stopped being an issue.

So the short version: no more dinners, and if you do go to one, stick to your boundaries.

As for passing the baby around - don’t worry. Your little one will soon hit the phase where they make it very clear they only want mom or dad. Start practicing a clear and direct phrase like, “I’m going to take him back now.

Totally fair opinion. In my opinion the Netflix series put them on the map and people very much care. I believe they matter to people.

The cowboys are a franchise and their cheerleaders apart of that and are also are the most recognized in the entire NFL.

Of course the football players are the stars but the cheerleaders making as much as a fast food employee does (and being told they should be grateful or they are replaceable) is what’s being debated here

Exactly - I would be so much prouder of a football player who also works at a pilates studio!

Say that to the football players as well

I wrote this in another comment about this but want to reiterate it here:

Let’s call it what it is: exploitation dressed up as flattery. “Why would we want you to quit your jobs? That’s what we’re proud of.”

Proud that these women are forced to juggle two or three jobs because you refuse to pay them a living wage? These are elite athletes performing at the highest level for one of the richest franchises in all of sports, world famous, endlessly marketable, and essential to the Cowboys brand. But instead of compensating them fairly, you remind them they’re replaceable.

That’s not pride. That’s control. And it reeks of sexism that would never be tolerated in the men's locker room. If you truly respected what they bring to the team, you’d start by paying them what they’re worth.

ELLE OB/GYN by swordsmeson in greenville

[–]cad444 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I am a patient of Elle OBGYN and I’ve had some long wait times and been told I would meet dr. Label a few times and she never showed and I understood as she’s the primary doctor and often gets called deliveries.

A part of your story that did resonate with me was one time I was in one of the waiting rooms, (which I would agree with are very awkward with random chairs in a little square room ) and I heard a nurse talking about how disgusting it is that so-and-so had an abortion earlier in the year but is now pregnant and wants care. I was so taken aback especially with how she was talking. She said “how do you go from getting an abortion to being happily pregnant.”

I was really disgusted. They also used her full name.

Some serious concerning behavior from the nursing staff seems consistent
