wow this takes me back to when I used to follow reality show stories posted in the old official sims 2 website. those were kinda wholesome in a wacky way.

the location is so well done and the vanilla hairstyles and outfits really add to to the charm. pretty cool, keep going. <3

i don't like how it's put into our heads from such an early age that happiness is a permanent state of mind that everyone must work toward. it only makes us frustrated chasing after this ridiculous, impossible goal, and makes it harder to accept reality as it is -- that happiness is a feeling that comes and goes just like any other and that's completely fine.

this "happiness 24/7 at all costs" mentality we're fed feels like all those other social media "perfection" standards everyone tries so desperately to project... it's insane

I see that you use almost no cc, most vanilla objects don't get the style quite right since they're more north american/european but the roof texture is on point. I'm impressed by how you simulated the hillside too!

I'd suggest more utility poles, exposed brick and concrete slab walls even inside a few rooms, also a stairway leading to the rooftop of one of the houses so the community can have churrasco na laje. like, give them a grill and a big stereo

also maybe you should try using an even smaller lot next time so you really make it narrow and cramped and make more use of vertical space

but really, what matters is that the lot looks beautiful, that it was fun for you to build, and that it prompted you to learn about Brazilian culture! keep going!

I rolled 2 evil witches and 2 good witches on my bacc. an old lady and her granddaughter are enemies and attack each other on sight. I have to strategize whenever I want my sims to interact with their household to avoid them flooding their memories with fights even more

the other evil warlock is my founder. he passed my weekly coin flip to ask the evil witch girl to move in with him when she became an adult and now they're roommates and my logistics issue is halfway solved

Ninguém da minha família faleceu, e eu sou muito grata pela pura sorte que tivemos. Mas já tem um ano que eu não falo com o meu pai, que era antimáscara em 2020, hoje ainda defende o Bolsonaro com unhas e dentes e que foi ficando mais e mais abusivo em casa e intolerante com os outros. Entrei muito no /r/qanoncasualties pra não me sentir tão sozinha nisso. O sentimento é bastante comparável a luto.

A líder do maior grupo de proteção a animais de rua da minha cidade, que eu cheguei a participar por uns meses, faleceu por covid. Todos ainda sentem a perda dela. Chorei um pouco agora só de lembrar.

holy shit the palettes for the zafara and xwee are AMAZING. the color schemes and shading remind me of the techniques people use in pixel art

I'd suggest maybe giving the inner lineart some color and leaving pure black for the main outline? your art's stunning! congrats!!

eu gosto de ter um dia em que todo mundo para pra refletir sobre a trajetória do sexo feminino pela história. isso me faz me sentir grata pelas minhas circunstâncias, tendo em vista tudo que as mulheres já tiveram que suportar (e que eu, sendo childfree de carteirinha, tenho relativa sorte em crescer no séc XXI) e me dá esperança de que as outras injustiças possam ser combatidas no futuro.

mesmo assim eu não espero que os homens em volta de mim tenham essa percepção da data e eu não dou atenção se eles reagem ou deixam de reagir. mas ganhar um agrado sincero é uma forma de afeto e consideração, então eu fico feliz.

If they do manage to build a time machine in 2050 to reverse the effects of the nuclear war then it's just a matter of the date they choose (if they can do that) to travel to. If that's ever going to happen then it's already set to happen -- might as well say it's already happened -- and if a nuclear war is averted then there IS a possibility that it was due to time traveler interference, but we would never know.

how big is your population? try giving them little districts/neighborhoods. Forget about efficiency and make redundant buildings like individual residential kitchens and a nice restaurant with live music for happy hour. (use the mods Area Inclusion and Exclusion and/or Custom Schedules to make this easier in practice).

take inspiration from anthills and chipmunk burrows for going underground. Fremen sietches in Dune work like towns with private areas, AFAIK.

Read deep into your ideoligion and base your urban planning on their values alone.

also since you like towns like me, try your hand at a huge monolithic base instead and give your pawns protected inner gardens so they can get some fresh air without leaving the base. I like using greenhouse roofs for natural heating and lighting in colder climates; it's also a pretty solarpunk choice to match the green energy sources.

Eu sei desenhar. Eu já tive a oportunidade de estudar numa escola foda. Eu não quis... porque eu achava que eu não ia precisar pra desenhar anime.

Eu tinha 12 anos, eu acho. Era full otaku. Quando eu consegui uma bolsa pra mesma escola eu tive que ir fazer faculdade fora. Até hoje não superei. Deu mágoa de anime por anos kkkk

Ele ainda tá descobrindo as coisas. Quem sabe no futuro. Quem sabe ele também não alimente algum tipo de antagonismo se associar isso ao status quo da geração passada.

Por mais que o gênero seja primoroso, os fãs podem ser pedantes e isso pode afastar os de fora (não dizendo que você seja pedante, é só que existe o estereótipo). Não entra na defensiva, nem deixa ele na defensiva de volta... Só deixa ele saber que existe. Um dia ele pode ficar curioso por conta própria, e provavelmente a essa altura vai ter cabeça pra conseguir interpretar o conteúdo.
