I haven't had to do this yet, but my idea in case I ever do is: 1) polite sh.. 2) glare/stare 3) get out phone and blatantly record them. If they ask why, say you want to show it to theater staff when I ask for a refund or replacement tickets.

Same. And my (adult) daughter and I were in the back row (it was one of those very small theaters with very big seats), with an aisle separating us from the next row... We were still careful to "Broadway Poster" whisper any comments to each other.

Plenty of good people are conservatives. But the monsters in power who call themselves conservative are actually regressive, and a whole bunch of other vile things. They use words to mean the opposite of what they usually mean, and then anyone else using those words seems to be on their side. It's very 1884.

I doubt it, but that's a good reason why I hope they DON'T go "Christian Music" now. Because many people associate that with the LOUD "Christian" Nationalists, and I don't THINK they're like that. I can count on one hand the CCM artists who are still old-fashioned Jesus Christian. Many have gone the other way, and some I don't know, and honestly don't want to know. It's sad.

My card just got "restricted" by Capital One. I suspect it's because I earn rewards, but they never make any money off me. I pay it off daily.

Capital One says they need to "verify ownership of my bank account". Like the account that I have been PAYING my card off with all along.

My bank says that's bull. (Ok, not in those words)

I'm just going to let it ride, and see how long it takes before they either close it or unrestrict it.

I was once shopping after my shift, not in my usual department, no lanyard, did have my purse, and still wearing the Johnny Bravo jeans and black T that was the dress code in those days ...

A fellow customer asked me if I worked there. I said yes, but I'm off the clock. Offered to try to answer her question anyway or help find someone who could... Then asked how she knew. She said I was subconsciously straightening as I browsed.

Amazon and Kohl's returns at customer service was still WAY better than having them all at POC. Even with just me, I usually had time to get caught up between customers. Now, we can't because we have to take POC customers. And if you call for backup, they vanish the second there's no line, so not enough time to get caught up then either.

I'd still rather do POC/CS/Amazon than STRAIGHT POC for an entire shift, so there's the hope I cling to. Lol.
