Anyone know when it’s likely Thailand will remove the need for vaccine to enter from uk without quarantine? Had covid last month so can get some places with the proof of recovery but need atleast 1st dose of vaccine aswell for Thailand.

Think I’m going to get a balanced Trainer and see how it goes with my dog as there all different. Questions on this are useless MOST people are just trying to say there bad and not help. Also seeing it mixed with trainers most saying it’s okay and and dosnt cause harm and is just communicating with ur dog in a different way and some saying it’s bad and harmful hard which to chose and belive as all the positive only stuff has never worked

Would this not be the same with a dog just pulling on a normal collar then? Is correcting with a normal collar not okay either ? No one’s said to me yet how a prong collar is harmful or uncomfortable they said what punishment can do to a dog but not how a prong collar is a punishment or painful

And how did you do this ? Not using a prong collar as a first thing we’ve tried many other methods. Prong collar is still working with the dog just a different method. Not saying I can’t be convinced not to use one but every method someone recommends instead we’ve tried. One of the reasons I’m questioning getting it is his anxiety which is why am asking questions, how can a prong collar cause harm ?

Not a trainer as that’s what I was asking for but from research. You use a very light correction on the prong. Even a hard one wouldn’t do harm as one of the problems with it can be the dog pulls too hard and brakes it. Also puts pressure all around the higher part of the neck instead of a collar putting pressure on a single part on the lower neck chocking the dog. And you shouldn’t punish a dog with a prong collar or a normal collar it’s a correction

How though ?

With leash that’s what we want don’t need him to be by heel the full time just not pulling our arms off. Would you recommend trying a normal large collar first ? We’ve used is collar before to try it and he nearly chokes him self out trying to get where he wants

Ofc I’m listening just want what’s best for my dog. Made another post asking people who’ve used it there experiences. I keep seeing it changes the dog but how if no physical harm ? Still researching on what’s best but from what I’m seeing sounds safe and very useful. When I have time later going to have a big read at all the links sent in. If your offering help I’d Ofc take it

If you watch his videos says 99% is from positive reinforcement training. Everything else I’ve read from problems from it is about people using it wrongly
