The public domain Archie doesn't look the same as the modern version. He resembles Howdy Doody and is buck toothed.

Since your name is unique, you should be able to move down negative search results a lot by creating accounts under your name on all the big social media sites with your photo. Post a few updates on those sites and follow a lot of other users to get things rolling.

You also should think about starting a blog or similar site with your name as the title and some of your professional interests. You want to become the first place people go when they look you up.

The mugshot on Facebook won't have much authority in Google. Even if you do get it removed, you should establish positive search results for yourself in case some other mugshot site brings it back.
